  1. Past hour
  2. I believe it was the leaseholder Mr Boothby that said it..
  3. Good lad. Don’t let it put you off posting what you “hear” either whether it’s right or wrong. End of the day very few people give a sh!t 😉
  4. If you’re not joining them and attending instead, never sit alone Baldyman. Send me a message you’re more than welcome to join us
  5. PGR are not in talks with Oxford. Who told you that?
  6. The Opole round is possibly going to be on You tube either on Sabmar TV channel or Polski Zuzel TV channel- meeting starts at 3pm UK time.
  7. That is good news, 6 years remaining. But will that mean, if the dogs go, the speedway set up will have to cover the whole rent? 🙁
  8. And there was me thinking it was news of a big investor and a new blueprint for taking British Speedway forward.
  9. Not quiet, PGR are in talks about possibilities at Oxford so all is not lost, and in reply to Ray their are 2 companies that stream greyhound racing they are PGR consisting of Ladbrokes, Corals, and ARC which stream from their own tracks and several others, SIS stream the remaining tracks and several Greyhound tracks over in Ireland, basically the many thousands of pounds earned from streaming these live races keeps the Stadiums open, so for any of them to lose those streaming contracts it is a huge blow to their viability, which is where Oxford are right now, and for those that do not know the lease at Oxford allegedly was/is for 10 years.
  10. It had to be one of them! Or both if they had someone else in mind though.
  11. Championship League Competition meetings and BSN Series meetings going by rules count towards averages.
  12. Not sure you understand the structure of media rights for dogs Ray. Mildenhall will be fine as PGR will replace SIS as the funders of dig racing and pay that to ARC the new lease holders. PGR are not interested in Oxford so dogs are finished there.
  13. Yes but Arc have a contract with PGR so Mildenhall will be ok .The Oxford situation is different as the lessee is heavily indebted to SIS so maybe that’s why they pulled the plug
  14. Today
  15. Scunny clearly seen that they lacked an out and out number 1 so the decided to try grab one of the best ones in the league but clearly forgot to find him back up. All well and good having a big number 1 but he can’t win the match for you if the rest can’t even score their average. ablitt clearly in deep waters being in the main body of the team. harrison is a second string at best (at home) hasn’t really done anything away from scunny and it’s now his third season in this league so you’d think by now he should be able to at least score his average on away tracks. mountain steady as always. MPT I’m not even sure what he is doing. Lambo struggling to score at reserve and Cleary still struggling same as last year. Ingram finding the jump up tough but all the experience will be valuable and will progress throughout the season.
  16. It is still a fact the live streaming company, SIS, has pulled out of both venues. What overall affect that will have on the greyhound operations at both venues, will eventually bubble to the surface.
  17. Wouldn’t worry about it,when you trigger the clique they have a habit of petty responses
  18. Ive got a championship prediction. Poole to dominate again, only challenged by Glasgow . With Havvy on the photos wearing his woolly hat. I can see the future in that league ( not hard )
  19. Maybe, but it’s a fine margin. Howarth’s no shows in heat fifteen and the race-off in the play-off final somewhat deflect the fact that at times, he was remarkable last season. His 5-1s with Harris against Edinburgh in the semi-final, taking Masters from behind (the Bishop said to the maid) at Ashfield, absolutely bullying Zach Cook at Ashfield in a critical race of the final, etc. Thompson’s 2025 was a strange one. I don’t think he was the same rider after his hand/wrist injury suffered in the U21 final. He had a great season, some tremendous meetings and played a huge part in our season, but his last effort in a Tigers’ race suit was to be surrender three points in being passed by Lewis Kerr. You could reverse engineer a whole meeting on where it was won and lost, but Thompson being done by Kerr wasn’t in the forecast. I’m in no doubt however that Thompson will have a fantastic season at Armadale.
  20. Mildenhall hasn’t lost the dogs; it’s just a change of lessee from Mr Boothby to Arc. Oxford is still owned by Galliards and we might hear some news about the greyhounds and speedway later this week otherwise….
  21. Also gave my facebook a page a good plug. Lets now get to 5k members. 200 to go
  22. Polish Extraliga match free globally on YT this weekend: https://www.youtube.com/live/nn-1aPfgTEA?is=KuRQKcbbHXqZ6Nti
  23. I expect Mario to struggle. Kevin might be OK but will likely be outscored by opposite numbers on his first visit. I'm pretty sure Edinburgh will win but let's see how our new boys adapt during the meeting and see how our reserves stack up. The 1-3-5 boys should be fairly equal and entertaining.
  24. Dan has now got Polish commitments and will miss some Saturdays, last Saturday being an example, so while he may well outscore Chris, Glasgow have made the right long term decision.
  25. The BSPL current rider statistics list Pickering as 9.36, so based on that, I would presume so.
