Whilst I totally understand where you’re coming from, different people use different social media platforms. So clubs need to use them all to make the biggest influence.

Is that Stonehewer doing the track walk? -
The irony of this being that Belle Vue did get the graveyard gate early doors but were only 6 points down. The damage was done in heats 7-11 when Sheffield had gate 3 for 4 consecutive races.

Difficult to predict this meeting as I have no idea how Jeppesen will do. He was appalling at Perry Barr when I saw him but others have said it was just Perry Barr where he struggled. Also can't remember how Morris fares at NSS if indeed I have ever seen him here before. Can't imagine Bewley being troubled but Kemp could be a trump card. 47-43 without any conviction. Masters & Douglas always did better for Wolves on midday BHM's than they did on regular 7:30 starts. -
may have been riding in the grasstrack meeting at tallington,?I agree not acceptable but that may have been the reason

Well Brennan is doing the track walk, so obviously not had any issues getting to NSS in time. It's strange to think the last time I saw him was riding for Bydgoszcz v Gorzow. -
Social media brings the worst out in people. The ones that can’t confront you face to face. Anyone can be brave on a keyboard.

Are any of You happy with that? Marcella? I am not amused! -
Regrettably for Speedway, some in greyhound circles predicted a similar outcome when Boothby took on Oxford. These rumours gained traction last August when this scenario and timeline were forecasted.

Me pipe down NEVER !

I would have thought that the first home meeting in several seasons that all the squad of Buxton`s team would be riding. Prey tell why 2 squad riders did not ride?

Ipswich vs Kings Lynn Thursday April 9th 7.30pm KOC
Steve Irving replied to Aries's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
With respect to the youngsters that night, it’s night and day compared to what he’ll meet on Thursdays. Worlds apart. Rushen was beaten that night by Trigger, Loftus, and twice by Mulford who he didn’t look close to competing with. Let’s not forget Mulford has a Championship average over two points LESS than Ipswich #7 and rising star, Edwards, let alone a Swedish U21 Champion. That’s the scale of what he’ll be up against. I’m not saying he won’t get in amongst them as he’s clearly a talented boy, but he shouldn’t be expected to beat either at this moment but as I say, that doesn’t mean he won’t. He’ll have better opportunities on the horizon against weaker reserve pairings but he’ll be up against IMO the strongest reserve pairing in the league currently. Having said that, he’d do well to stay completely clear of Bangs while he’s getting to grips with Foxhall! Could be a very interesting spectacle watching his early heats on Thursday which is the main reason I’m taking the trip across to give him a look. -
I'm sure you'll be fine. I think the bumper bank holiday crowd on Friday caught me out. We arrived at 5:30 and just missed out. I'm assuming the school was full too, as we weren't directed there. Worst case scenario, the Dolphin centre multi storey is only half mile away. It's £2:60 after 6pm for all night.

I’ve seen a couple of references to the cartel. Who are they?
-
And you lot won't when a danish fixture clashes with a pilots meeting and Mr Lawson or Mr cook are unavailable 🤔.

Forecast for Friday at Redcar looks good so far . Just hope I can find some extra money to buy some fuel to get over 😜. UTC 🏁

ShanoXtra replied to Aries's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
I’m just putting it out there, I feel (we) Ipswich will win this one, but people may be sleeping slightly on Cooper. The last meeting of the season at Foxhall he rode extremely well and made some good movements in positions for cut backs or going outside of riders. I expect him to get in and amongst it and cause PHB and Edwards some problems. -
My biggest fear is losing mayfield due to the cartel.

Unfortunately for UK speedway we are exposed to two types of promoter. 1. The professional. 2. The hobbyist. And let’s be clear, some regard themselves as professionals because they run businesses elsewhere but are in realty stuck in the mud hobbyists. What makes the matter worse is that there are more hobbyists promoters than professionals and thus they get to say what goes and what doesn’t. I live in (faint) hope that the time will come when the professionals get together and gain sufficient momentum/influence & money to go it alone. Because make no mistake the hobbyist are not (as they would like us to believe) keeping the sport going on a thriving basis, they are holding it to ransom and actively leading it to an eventual demise.

i have quite a few times, are you saying the gate choice is fixed?
