  1. Today
  2. They need 18 meetings to complete 75% of fixtures. They've completed 16.
  3. Yesterday
  4. If Leicester can continue to use Fricke for one R/R it's better than having Becker back I believe. Though I'd move Howarth to #2 and put R/R at 3, 4 or 5 so Fricke doesn't have to be used in heat 8.
  5. was thinking 2 young lads both for same team is there more to it ive no idea if there is but just a bit funny 2 decent lads similar stage and ability then drop in form and unwell both looked like they were up and coming riders
  6. Already completed 75% of their fixtures so past cut off for changes.....
  7. Sedgmen, Kerr and possibly Rowe should be grateful there’s not an influx of riders wanting ride in the UK, another week if them having inept performances around Owlerton
  8. Might be thinking JJ has a better chance than Sam of beating Villads while both might be expected to be beat by Dan?
  9. Maybe something clubs over here should do on "TV nights"? A tenner in and SS holders bring a friend to offset them already paying... A reasonably full stadium delivers a much better advert for the sport...
  10. Should have said riding at 3 (or not riding at 2). In general Hagon hasn't been good since moving up from reserve, so is put him in the "less pressure" number 2 position.
  11. Leicester really seem to have Sheffield in their pockets right now, saw them win there the other season and tonight's is another impressive result! They are certainly gathering momentum whilst Sheffield appear to be losing it!
  12. Rode bloody well for 4pts. Four crucial third places. Well done Joe Thompson.
  13. -and lawson only got 4 points riding in higher league should he be sacked also cairns been getting zero in higher league do you actually know anything about speedway you been watching a team thats always been strong so when there slightly above average you cant handle it
  14. Well the Brummies loss is the Witches gain - he's looked decent so far scoring a few points but tonight's haul is possibly his best ever - he may well end up giving the Ipswich management a dilemma of their own when the 28th day comes!
  15. You mean Tatum's inane ramblings? I think I would rather listen to Jan any day over the ex public schoolboy
  16. In the 2 meetings against Birmingham This week Edwards has scored 20, Hagon 0 So yes the incompetence is astounding.
  17. I would say he proved his point on Monday when he basically won the match for Oxford guesting (obviously magic done amazing as well)
  18. It was all explained by him on the BSpeedway Podcast.
  19. It was a poor decision to choose Hagon over Edwards and whoever made that decision should not really be doing the job, if it's Chris Adams then he does not have enough experience to be Team Manager and this decision proves it, if its Laurence Rogers then we all know Laurence has many good traits but being Team Manager is not one of them, and if it's Nigel Tolley that made the decision then he is getting what he deserves. I think Jason Edwards had a point to prove tonight and boy did he make the Birmingham management look silly 12+1 from 5 rides well done Jason, this was compounded by young Sam really struggling by failing to score in his four rides.
  20. We are where we are though, unfortunately, and sooner or later something radical will need to be done and each passing year they keep rinsing and repeating the existing output makes the chances of any radical change succeeding less and less likely.
  21. Personally I think Leicester are ok with r/r and Joe. No guarantee riders coming back from injury will fare any better, r/r works, Lawson guested tonight, I am sure r/r would have scored more.
  22. Thanks Fromafar! His uncle Tony could run a country and I wonder if he could be roped in to offer guidance to the BSPA to save the sport in the UK?
  23. The Brummies passing 30 points must be an achievement for this woeful side.
  24. Yes, but, Leicester's achiles heel might rear is head again if/when the weather turns come play off season, as they don't seem to be able to adapt quickly enough when the track is anything out of the usual at home, as shown again on Monday vs Sheffield... And it still remains to be seen whether Luke Becker's injuries have healed enough for him to make a return to the UK when he's back on track again, if you know what I mean!
  25. Ride of the night without a doubt with Ellis starting 15m back due to touching tapes and passing both Brummies to complete a 5-1 with Edwards. Full race below:
