Yes I’m hearing from a source seeing as I don’t have FB and Redcar only put any updates on there now that Charles is back in the team for this weeks match against Workington and Klindt has been dropped, given there was a statement only a week or so ago that Charles couldn’t ride a close cluster of fixtures is he going to be able to take his place at Berwick on Saturday in a crucial semi final ? Timing seems strange and I’m disappointed like most bears fans that room couldn’t be made for both riders so we once again had strength in the crucial heats 13 and 15 , feel this is a mistake but time will tell.

100% they do.. However, the FIM meetings are in the calendar well in advance so it shouldn't be beyond the capability of mankind to plan UK Speedway meetings around them... And if the riders don't qualify to the next stages then that would leave "blank" evenings to arrange a previously called off fixture, should they need to do so.. The sport in the UK is dying through far too many self inflicted cuts... Many of which could be avoided,. Having one of your young "starlets" unavailable due to your own planning is only going to make that meeting less attractive to pay to watch.. And UK Speedway can ill afford putting up any possible barriers to prevent people to attend..

Finals on Sunday.

The one that grated was a certain American talking about the "straight aways". My all time favourite (which I still quote where appropriate after heat 13) is "Happiness is 40-38". Happiness is 46-44 doesn't quite work does it?

Cairns is a young man who as stated is making steady progress in his career. I was shot down by other members stating he shouldn’t miss league meetings for SGP commitments but Will and all the other young brits are our future stars. Riding in Europe can only improve their growing skills. -

The lad should have a big career ahead of him if he stays level headed, Cairns, Rushton, Harrison and Scott should be the core England world team cup squad in years ahead sadly as we are so far behind Poland these days talented as those four UK lads are we probably still won't be able to lay a glove on the young poles who are there to meet them when the time comes. -
You'd be oh so privileged to be me, or are you already me, so much accusation I am starting to question who I even am anymore, hard to see my true reflection through these tear filled forum eyes

It was almost a Pirates 'Past and Present' win over Northampton!🤣

Cheers Vince, my son also Sam, cannot recall the incident, so either he was not there or my foggy memory is passed down to the next generation, must have been some other rider, but sure it happened, just got the wrong guy ? I can remember the volunteer trying to hang on to the shovel

Feel free to find it odd, I very rarely post anything on these forums, often just read them as you will know, the decline on this forum has caught up with the decline of the sport itself. As for your expectations, fair enough we'll agree to disagree, perhaps Mayfield were trying to stay loyal, if you're genuinely looking to 2027 and riders are watching, would many be keen if they are making multiple changes in their debut season? Sticking with Brennan who will drop his average this year to nicely fit in next year and not at no.1 etc all you're doing is suffering for a season ie a transitional year before competing again You may even win the league cup against my beloved lions

That’s me told off by the man with all the answers . Not sure I’m getting the part of you wanting BK to win the title though…

Was Kurtz genuine in Heat 13? Four rides four comfy wins, no one near him then a stone last? Cook bust a gut to pass Lidsey Kurtz just sat there. I suppose it was a nothing race, he had done his job by then and it will keep the old average down.

Sam says he never picked up a shovel in the time he rode Speedway. I can remember him kicking off against Scunthorpe when one of their lads had been instructed to turn hard right on him out of the gate and after the third time Sam kicked off and then loads of people got involved in handbags. Far as I can remember the biggest punishment ended up being for Danny Norton that day but really should have been for the bloke issuing the instructions from the safety of the pits. There was also an incident with Luke Priest where Sam waited for him after being cleaned out then hitting Lukes helmet when he told Sam it was because he was going too slow 😂. Would have all been OK 10 minutes later if it hadn't been for Dave Robinson excluding Sam from the meeting and one of the opposing teams lot running over and trying to hit Sam while everybody had hold of him. The exact opposite happened at Stoke when Sam cleaned Gary Flint out, rode round to apologise but Gary (quite rightly) had the hump and hit him. The Marshall soon broke it up, the ref didn't take any action (it was Margaret Vardy so she probably didn't see it) and 5 minutes later Gary and Sam were having a laugh about it in the pits and are friends to this day. Ms Vardy then did notice that Karlis Ezergalis had the wrong shade of yellow helmet cover and either excluded or fined him (can't remember exactly) she had a politicians sense of priorities 🤣 To this day I think that riders who are pumped up shouldn't be punished for a bit of handbags immediately after an incident, the crowd love it. However anybody except another rider hitting a rider should be banned from the pits for life, there's no excuse for it.

Try that bit harder is a daft but expectrd comment Belle Vue have built a team that are so good at home (the correct thing to do) that really over 2 legs they should beat everyone Nice of you to notice that we aren’t as good as last season but still in with a chance of the play offs ….. you know what they are as whenever you have come up against Ipswich in those you do get beat … luckily for you we was in the other semi in 2024 Very hard to defend a title as you will know after limping into 4th last season after winning it in 2024…. Think maybe Ipswich might limp into 4th this season after winning it in 2025… seems both our clubs are the same but at least in 2025 you didn’t lose your owner and nearly lose your club and where able to keep your top riders and not have to build almost from scratch but still you struggled Oh and regards Doyle it’s always wise to check facts before posting …. He asked Paul Hurry about riding for Ipswich the weekend of the Manchester GP…. Hurry declined saying he would have to release 3 riders to do that ….call that stupid yes possibly …. But to say Doyle gave us a wide berth is just made up by yourself but hey if you feel better go for it Personally I think it’s great Doyle is back … also means over 2 legs Belle Vue will beat the weakest Ipswich team in years over 2 legs now You will/should win the league unless Sheffield can get a superstar replacement for Holder … Will be a huge choke if you don’t (unless of course Kurtz, who I want to win the title) has an important GP the weekend after the final

If Zach is missing the Berwick meeting that could be a plus for Poole. He hates it there.

When you are regularly losing customers, raising prices for those who still shop with you, by inflation busting amounts annually, is truly a brilliant plan... Heaven forbid, ever try and find out why your, once hugely loyal customers, are no longer visiting you...
