  2. Would look something like this, depending on pts limit... 1 Harris 7.93 2 Albitt 4.85 3 Zischke 6.56 4 Cairns 6.44 5 D Thompson 7.55 6 Foord 3.3 7 Hodder 3.31 39.94
  3. How utterly boring, last winter was far more interesting than the actual season which is about to conclude 🥹. Putting fans of clubs through torture should be an essential ingredient of the sport, after all what will there be to talk about for 4 months if everything's cut and dried by end of November?
  4. Richard made a point about the tribal nature of the Polish fans and it was something to work on over here. He’s also touch on the fact social media should be improved, both frequency and content. I know how he feels when dealing with the BSPL cartel as I get the very same with the many cartelesq members on here. We will push on though.
  5. Do not think he signed for Sheffield, signed for Kings Lynn and guested for Sheffield. He signed for Belle Vue but only for the play offs.
  6. apart from those times he signed for Belle Vue and Sheffield of course.
  7. Today
  8. 👍Maybe Neilsen was just “chumming”along.Only saw him before the meeting with a Mathias Neilsen anorak on.
  9. One of the Danes who were in the Jays memorial meeting might fit on a 4 or 5 average. Will something be revealed tomorrow night at the end of season doo 🤔🔵⚪🏁🍺
  10. See it's not only me that thinks this 🤣
  11. Will be a good signing for Poole 😜 will have a decent reduction on his average for being out of the sport for many years 🙃
  12. Any idea on Rasmus Pedersen’s average who was the one who was actually at Berwick. Now confirmed on the bandits website.
  13. If it'sthe same RC then yes but I shouldn't concern yourself with it too much in this day and age. It reads as a personal petition not any of the businesses but it would prevent him from being a Director until the insolvency is discharged on the terms set out. If there are no prospects of any financial recovery then a time expiry applies to the insolvency. The circumstances need to be fully disclosed before any opinion can be formed, it happens.
  14. For what it’s worth, my take is this. He did a “Morally” and an “Actual” bad crime. Went to Prison & served some time. Our stupid system lets people out early etc. Said person is now able to earn a living. Let him earn a living. If he’s coming to your track, don’t pay to go-simple. Tell your promotion why you haven’t attended. If there is a massive crowd drop off when said rider is in town, leave it to the promoters to sort out. If it’s bad for business it won’t last long.
  15. OK I'll bite, what rules have Poole bent/broken?
  16. They're all 90yrs old, They're all 90yrs oooooold, These full kit w@nkers, They're all 90yrs old. 🤪🤪 Point being, neither image is attractive to the potential younger audience
  17. 1. Charles Wright 2. Jake Mulford 3. Jody Scott 4. 5. Danny King 6. 7. 2.00 Fill the last 2 spots in based on average limit, should be quite a lot left to get a really solid reserve in 4+ average and a 5.5/6ish number 4. If the average limit is 40 then Nathan Ablitt and McDiarmid/Mountain fits. If it's 38 then maybe Max Perry/Vinnie Foord and McDiarmid/Mountain My vote for the 2.00er is Charlie Southwick, I feel he has a lot to give, knows the track well and I get the feeling that the championship will be much weaker next year, so even if he just maintains a 2 point average.
  18. Its been well documented that in their final Premiership/Elite seasons - having won the titles several times - Poole took a big hit financially. Crowds dipped on Thursdays, sponsors changed. stadium rental/costs increased (and Matt was moving temporarily to France). Fans were asked what level of racing and what race night they preferred - the answer was Championship on Wednesdays. So be it! At the time MF stated it was 30% cheaper to run in the Championship than the Prem. A greater variety of fixtures/opponents also appealed to the fans who continued to attend in good numbers - especially as Poole continued to track successful, winning teams, all built within the same points limit as everyone else - no rules broken, no super wages paid!. In the background was - and still very much is - the long term future of Poole Stadium, Council owned and until recently leased to Clarke Osborne's Gaming International company. (CO passed away in August leaving his widow as the sole Director of Poole Stadium Ltd) Its understood they still have 14 years left on the lease. With all Councils under pressure to generate more house building, everyone is waiting for some clarification as to the stadium's future.... No club no matter how successful or otherwise, will take a major step into something that is going to cost significantly more when its traditional home maybe under threat - or at the very least requiring firm clarification.
  19. Crucial winter for Redcar following a very mediocre season , only one true heat leader in Klindt / Wright the former who did such a great job stepping in for the skipper and Charles himself when he coming back from such a nasty injury and his own personal issues, achieving such a magnificent return including being Britains best rider behind the World Champion in the GB team in the WTC. On to 2027 , I’d love a top two of Wright and Klindt but fear the stupid 8 point rule will scupper that , a return for Danny King would be very welcome , but we must keep Jody Scott who I think has been the 2026 rider of the year and next season will be massive for him, as for the rest , very inconsistent and for a few I think a change would be as good as a rest, but we know this sport is a numbers game and there ain’t no Man City in this league to bend the rules apart from Poole of course, an interesting winter coming up.
  20. Just looked and based on last season's assessed averages rules Matias Nielsen would come in on an 8.50 championship average. with 'this rider would only be considered dependent on fixture clashes' next to the figure. So I guess any clashes would exclude him from being allowed to ride in the championship. Similar riders around his average in the Polish Ekstraliga 2, just so people have a rough idea on how good he actually is: Just above him in the averages - Jakub Jamrog, Luke Becker, Gleb Chuganov Just below him in the averages - Ben Basso, Zach Cook, Dimitri Berge
  21. Forget rivalries aside, Kings Lynn are a fine Speedway Club. They’ve always been a big part of top flight speedway going back to the Terry Betts and Michael Lee days, had some of the best riders in world speedway. The fact they’ve never celebrated a top flight title isn’t right really. They’ve a loyal fan base and they deserve their spot in the sun. Until change happens, I doubt that will come unfortunately for them.
  22. Birmingham were always a club with a high number of "colour wearers"... I think an elderly demographic is the underlying key.. If you attend football now it is mainly kids and the middle aged and above who wear club colours... With many of those circa 16 - 40 not wanting to be seen dead in a replica top... A decent money earner for the clubs though I would think..
  23. Lots of ifs, buts and maybes for myself unfortunately. Id take batch back if hes not number 1 or 5 but rumours are he's heading Plymouth way. Zischke I would love to have back but Glasgow is his rumoured destination. Jakobsen is a strange one for me. He's got talent, and he was quite dominant in his short stint at reserve, but he needs better machinery. Vinnie, like Jakobsen, was decent at reserve, but also needs better machinery. If Vinnie and Jakobsen were our reserve pair id be happy going into next season. I have a few riders in mind who I'd like to see. 1. Klindt (8.81) - unbeatable around Northside and will consistently score well. However affordability and availability may be an issue. 2. New rider 3. Tate (6.56) 4. Batch (7.04) 5. New rider 6. Jakobsen (3.78) 7. Vinnie (3.21 with reduction) Total: 29.4 leaving 10.6 or 8.6 depending on points limit. Thats a decent team with a strong reserve pair, and the top 5 are of decent quality.
