The council are not entitled to say "on your bike" because of things supposedly said to the owner on social media, The council are there to sit and judge a company that ignored planning laws and went ahead and ripped out, demolished and built on the the track and stadium grounds that they had no permission to do. The council have to decide if the company is required to re-instate the stadium to the way it was when they got the lease no matter if they have an intention to run speedway or not. If this has to be done (which we all hope it will be on a matter of principle) then the next thing the council should look at is to see if they have broken the terms of the lease and if so could they legally invoke a clause in the lease and make it null and void and take the lease back and issue a order for the tender for the stadium lease on the open market once again?

IMO it should only be an NDL guest. A British rider missing a meeting that's been in the fixture list all season to ride in another league is a disgrace. If the CL fixture had been rearranged id have more sympathy. Why sign for a team in a wednesday night league when your bread and butter team use the same night as their preferred race night.

Ipswich vs Leicester KOC Final 1st leg Monday 27th July

But you can have tracks that it's near on impossible to pass due to track prep, watching them bust a gut trying outside and going backwards,, people still say good racing,, when in reality the racing is rubbish, but the riders trying make it look better -

Part of what makes Poland so watchable for me is the closeness of the racing .. Not always passing, but you can often see the rider behind trying new lines to at least try and make a pass.. And the consistent, usually quite slick, track surfaces give riders confidence to ride close, plus stops the rider in front filling everyone in and then flying off around a grippy track... Even "dead rubbers" in Ht14 and Ht15 can be brilliant to watch... (I presume £2k a point may have some influence on this though)...😁 -

I have been working on this for a while and you're right, it's not the most practical. I have got to the stage where I have 7 years of results for PL1/2, SWE & UK, and it has produced a list that looks broadly about right, but it'll never be perfect. Even looking beyond the track - do some riders try more in POL than elsewhere (probably)? There so many variables (way more than I ever considered) and I don't think we'll ever get a proper, accurate model.

How long will Ace pijper be out due to big off at team GB practice at Glasgow on Saturday, seems to has been caught by another rider after falling, was a post on his Facebook page yesterday, nothing appears to be broken, but seems to be very bashed up

He is contracted to Northampton, has a championship average so can guest in our league, also could sign for a championship team as this world be his 4th league, after premiership, Denmark and Poland -
You cant blame the track , these riders Allen, Edwards and Mulford are just as inconsistent away, its a joke that Bears had to lose a rider as we had two over 8 points, now we have a rider on 9 next rider is on 6 point average , that's been the issue, we wont qualify for the PO's but a decent performance last night against Plymouth, particularly Jody Scott.
