  1. Past hour
  2. As the final Premiership matches are on the 4th September & the play-offs start on 8th September, there's not a lot of time for clubs to advertise their matches. I'm not suggesting they do what they did last year or Bring forward the cut-off date, but why not declare which club is racing at home on the 4 available dates? Top of the table at the end of August gets first pick, let's say that'll be Ipswich, they could pick 18th of September to guarantee the second leg at home (most clubs want that). Then go from there, once the positions are finalised, they'll know the away teams.
  3. Worky operate with transponders as far as I know. We have had close races decided by transponders in different meetings this season. Personally I think tenths of a second rounded up or down to the nearest tenth is precise enough for speedway. Transponders are useful for extremely close finishes. Don't know anything about Worky transponder issues on friday so can't help there.
  4. Len Silver said the same about Rye House
  5. Nothing really on Wednesday's match at Oxford, perhaps a rest would be better, ready for the BSN semi final against Glasgow
  6. There's no more updates yet that i can see. But I feel like he is a bit similar to Lawson in that unless a doctor rules him out he'll prob try and ride.
  7. I’ve heard they are going to chose each riders designated teams by rock, scissors, paper!
  8. Looking at the referees score card I see that all times are recorded to the nearest tenth of a second. Does this mean that workington do not operate using transponders? Maybe the reason we had problems with Workington transponders being fitted wrongly on Friday night.
  9. So do we think it can be strapped up and he may be able to race?
  10. Found it! 🗣️ "Two Big crashes a f'ed up bike and helmet done. My ankel is f'ed Think its sprained Will fly Home and get it checked tommorw Thanks to Simon Kate and Ryan for top effort the last Two days enjoyed it Setback for me but im used to this s!it See you guys soon 🫵"
  11. Today
  12. Big blow for him and us, irreplaceable in our team. Hope it is not as bad as he seems to think.
  13. Well thanks for the update doesn't sound like great news, hopefully nothing that pain killers can't help with. Shoulder and wrist injuries, I guess are generally more of an issue.
  14. Easy night for stars. Can see Mitch and Victor scoring a few more points once dialled in....
  15. That was the same Somerset fan who made the post Singy13! Good to meet you!
  16. Would say riders would prefer slick tracks and will voice opinion. These heat waves probably require many more hours put into track prep and some clubs don’t seem too have the time or volunteers .
  17. BELLE VUE: Brady Kurtz, Norick Blodorn, Jaimon Lidsey, Zach Cook, Dan Bewley, Tate Zischke, Jake Mulford. BIRMINGHAM: Tobiasz Musielak, Jonas Jeppesen R/R, Keynan Rew, Paco Castagna, Matej Zagar, Simon Lambert, Sam Hagon.
  18. Wednesday’s ( 20th) matches line-ups Fjelsted v Vojens Fjelsted 1 2 3 4 5 Vojens 1 Thomsen 2 Rew 3 M Hansen 4 Andersen 5 Jesper Knudsen Region Varde v Grindsted Region Varde 1 Zagar 2 Klindt 3 Chugunov 4 Blodorn 5 Heiselberg Grindsted 1 K Bjerre 2 Pollestad 3 Prem Pawlicki 4 Wojdylo 5 Nagel
  19. Maybe need to water later We all know it's hard But for better racing really need to get more grip like it was last year 3td and 4th bends are no man's land away from white line
  20. Wonder if the riders have influenced slicker track prep? . I believe the outside line could be roughed up more for next week, certainly Tate hasn't been as effective on the slicker surface. Quality of racing has to be the main priority because that provides the entertainment but it is also important to win your home meetings. Sometimes you change track conditions and your own riders find it more challenging than the opposition so it becomes counter productive. Recent meetings have been on hot breezy days with high evaporation rates which haven't proved easy to mitigate against. I have noticed with the later starts that by the end of the meeting moisture starts to come back from the ground which coupled with watering at grading breaks has helped. Bomber will utiluse any outside line on Saturday 😃, this has the potential to be the best meeting of the season so the track needs to be a fitting stage with our boys really up for it. UTC !
  21. Derwent Park was within walkable distance for a lot of people living in town, not the case with Northside where most will now be driving to get there, so I don't think a bar would be top priority.
