Been saying that for a while, definitely a prospect, had a good meeting at worky in the Ben fund a couple of years ago, now seems to be doing well in the GP2 and Poland

I can remember Juniors being promoted. However in practice how would it work today. Let's say Belle Vue and Sheffield are against each other, and Kurtz Doyle J Holder and Pickering are out. You put out teams as follows 1 Cook 2 Cairns 3 Blodorn 4 Ziscke 5 Kildemand 6 Junior 7 Junior. 1 C Holder 2 Killeen 3 Flint 4 Etheridge 5 Rowe 6 Junior 7 Junior. Would it be fair to charge Premiership prices, for e championship standard match. Would more be attracted to the match, than if you had replacements such as Fricke Douglas Lawson, Musielak?

Don’t know if I’m seeing it wrong but dosent every team enjoy home track advantage for half of their fixtures. The fact that the other teams cave in at the NSS is the main point to all this. Beaten even before they turn up. It’s not good.

In the local area so may attend, I think Northampton will win tomorrow. I can see a half bothered Lawson returning similar numbers to Brennan and think with the switches the Foxes have made they will come away 46-44 But only if Klindt turns up lol
-
I have zero idea who it is but at a guess possibly Slater Lightcap given both him and Cairns fall under Greg Hancock and Hancock has connections with the Fords.

But you're the same person, so why do you care?

I think you must have missed the point made in a previous post. He was released on licence with strict conditions. He knew what they were but still breached them and was returned to prison. He was then released again, and once more knew the conditions of his release yet still ignored them. And it wasn’t just being a little late for a curfew it was not being where he was permitted to be. There are many apologists on here for him but then there are those that were aware of his actions long before he committed the crimes for which he was jailed for a total of seven years and four months. And that is not a trivial sentence. It seems to me that he lacks all appreciation of right and wrong and, in my view, that is unlikely to change. Ever.

I don't think there was ever a rule about promoting junior riders - it was more a case of if teams had two similar riders missing there could be a "gentleman's agreement" between the promoters to use juniors. Certainly if, for example, one team had a heat leader missing, but the other had a second string missing, it was highly unlikely that juniors would be used.

But British Speedway still hasn't worked out how to encourage those watching the Semis and the Final to return for the standard league matches ... -
You always say this but if it such an advantage how have they not won the league every year? Truth is that they have built the best all round team this year and for once the reserves are scoring consistently.

And as weve seen many times in football play offs its about peaking at the right time, with speedway you can add in injuries too, also as the climate changes later in the year set ups change. Yes we should win the league but there are things to factor in. Having said that even though i like the team to succeed theres not much kudos attached to this 6 team league is there?
-
If we still ran junior teams the old rule of promote a junior if both sides were using R\R could be utilised. Also the issue isn’t so much about the amount of guests but the cause of why there is riders missing.

I think Mayfield will be well aware of what can be achieved with the right team. They will know about the packed Foxhall Heath last year for the play off final.
