Premiership 2027 - Are You Interested??

Good interview with Richard Coleman on YouTube chatsgp -
I think it's fair to say that given his actions since commiting those horrible crimes that Garrity has no respect for the rules & that's why he finds himself back inside. Only one person to blame for this.
-
Cook has let this team down masively this season missing them early crucial meetings which we could easily have won if he had been bothered to turn up. Just a pity Klindt was not available a couple of weeks earlier as I agree Kemp is not the same quality. I think Jackobsen is a decent rider but needs to just calm down a little and be patient instead of making stupid attempts to pass, he going to really hurt himself if he keeps that up.

Dave, could you provide us with details of how to lodge our objections, please?

Premiership 2027 - Are You Interested??
Daniel Smith replied to Daniel Smith's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
Hence why I said "many fans" as it's not directed solely at you. We want and need change to move this sport on and genuine ideas CAN help. As much as they deny it, promoters, managers and riders do read this forum. Ideally, we should be paying £15 admission. Ideally we should have Zmarzlik, Laguta and especially Lambert over here full time. Ideally we should be have major brands as sponsors. We are where we are because British Speedway has been stuck in this mentality that the fans don't matter. A constant dumbing down but increasing prices on us. Because of such measures, even the hardest of hardcore fans have been picking and choosing meetings. Many have given up all together. At fault for all that has been and always will be the clubs owners/promoters. It's never ever the fans fault if a club fails. Seeing Coleman's message, so sadly, makes me laugh. Why, you say?? If this guy keeps "running his mouth" to improve the sport, the other promoters will run him out of town within 4 years. Shamefully, Sandhu, Frost, J.Chapman and to a point M.Ford all ran out of the sport for trying to be 'progressive', many before them and since have also come and gone. Very loudly, it needs to be said to a number of this current promotions:- "You're fukkin s#!t at your job." -
so absolute major crime then !!! and definitely worth all the hatred he's going to get . went into an area he shouldn't have by mistake or deliberately . so hang him from the highest tree !!!

Don’t think he will be good for business if any Promoters are stupid enough too sign him.Just a total waster. IMO

A few weeks ago, i gave Batch some clog on here. So to be fair, giving credit where credit is due, he had a good meeting Monday & seemed to be making a real effort. No more issues with bike? BUT! Dispite beating Holder & running Rowe all the way to the line, i feel he let the winning point slip in Ht14. Letting Flint (not a bad rider, but not scored a bean until then) catch him on the line was, in my view, poor riding. However, NKI coming in 3rd was also poor. Giving Batch & NKI benefit of the doubt in Ht15. Pickering seemed to be riding better lines & had more mph in his engine. Disappointing the scoring from Klindt, Lidsey & Zagar. That's 2 home meetings on the trot that NK hasn't stepped up!! Lastly, have to say that was the best RACING so far, the passing & re-passing was very entertaining. Long may it continue.

"committed exclusively to British racing between March and October". I think you will find that's restraint of trade & I doubt that a club will be able to show that it has been signed to protect confidential information, trade secrets, client relationships or goodwill. Therefore would be unenforceable. Also do you seriously expect a rider to forgo higher value contracts in Poland, Sweden or even Denmark for 40 UK meetings? Say a top rider is on a guarantee of £3k a meeting thats £120k per year for a mechanic, three bikes, van, diesel, spares and servicing. I think most riders would turn that down. You need to remember that is it no longer 1968, the world and even speedway has moved on

a comfortable lions win i think here, a heads up to anyone travelling, the woodhead pass is closed due to fires so make sure you make alternate plans, the snake pass is very busy as is glossop due to the bypass being built
-
As said in the quoted post, something to do with him going into an area he shouldnt is what i was told,
-
Isn't it league fixtures that count?
-
Ok without the inevitable accusation by omission , why has he gone back in prison . ? I actually know but I'm happy to hear any conjecture you may have to offer

I have to disagree with the batch comment. Batch has been our best rider of the last 3 years. This season he's had one or two bad performances snd the rest acceptable. I would've brought batch back this season as well after his performances as number 1 last season. Hind sight is a wonderful thing but im sure the promotion probably thought jeppesen and cookie would be 1 and 5, with batch at 3.

15 out of 20 is 75%. David Howe is correct

I can't believe promotions took the money and ran, they simply paid it away to the riders so they had a (better?) chance of winning something! It's part of the circle of sport and, perhaps controversially, us fans have to accept we are sometimes part of the problem here! -
because there is no new site and they full well know it , no stone has been left unturned in the quest for an alternative site and none have ever been found , brandon estates are now fully singing from Gaming internationals bible of how to build on a stadium with the empty promise of a new site , then make no effort to even go through the sham of finding one ,once the first brick has been laid

No interest in this? Looks to be the playoff final contenders on current form (and depending if Holder returns to fitness in time.) LEICESTER: Ryan Douglas, Dan Thompson, Nick Morris, Kyle Howarth, Sam Masters, Drew Kemp, Joe Thompson. BELLE VUE: Brady Kurtz, Norick Blodorn, Peter Kildemand, Zach Cook, Jason Doyle, Tate Zischke, Will Cairns.
