  1. Past hour
  2. Think he lost a load of weight when he was at Edinburgh and was going well for them then got injured. Shame really as mentioned he came over and showed up really well for Mildenhall.
  3. We failed badly as a team getting beat by Lynn in the cup semi, that’s why I am personally not feeling over confident.
  4. Thanks for the reminder I'd forgotten Lion stream their meetings I'll be watching tonight.
  5. Dackarna have replaced injured riders Rasmus Jensen and Jakobsen with Zengota and Szczepaniak
  6. thats good to know, ill be going to that meeting, in fact I'm going over for a full weekend of speedway, Manchester to Poznan on coach, train to zielona gora v Rybnik , train back to Poznan, see Poznan v Tarnow, find pub in Poznan to watch gp. then train up to gorzow. back to Poznan, coach back to Manchester, all done on my phone at the weekend.😎
  7. Because they believe everything they see on the BBC and CNN etc. The scamdemic proved that beyond any doubt...
  8. Anders Thomsen has officially signed his new contract for Stal Gorzów 2026. The announcement will take place after the play down match on 31st August, Stal have also dropped the match ticket for the play down to the lowest cost from any Ekstraliga liga 2025 match at 40złoty = £8. Anders contract doesn’t have a relegation clause unlike the one J.Holder has signed. The contract is worth roughly 1 million zloty and 10,000 per point, this is less than this season. Anders wanted more but other clubs were not interested in him when he offered his services so Stal took this as an opportunity to negotiate lower although with their original short list failing of Pawlicki and Drabik they needed to secure someone and Anders has vastly improved this season.
  9. just because the Polish dislike the Ukrainians doesnt give everyone free rein to also dislike them, its not like Poland has always taken the moral high ground in political matters.
  10. Speedway riders choose to call themselves professional nowadays because they have made no time through doubling up etc ,Also choosing to ride abroad . This means they can't hold down normal jobs. Back in the day when Speedway was a million times better, most riders had jobs and Speedway was their payed hobby. It's got way out of hand that even these ndl and lower standard even call themselves professional aswell.
  11. Remember if you want to watch this one live it’s on LionsTV - sign in and the cost is £12.99
  12. Today
  13. You read all of that and your only take from it was the two houses 🤦🏼 the point is Ukraine people and their government are just as bad as Russia… yet they get a free pass into speedway with no issue. Poland is the Meca of speedway let’s be honest and Polish people hate Ukrainians… why does the rest of the world not see how they really are?
  14. I thought that a year or two ago, he then picked up some form, seems to have lost it again though. Although that now means he's on an attractive average for 2026, so will probably get a place with someone.
  15. I was thinking where did you get that average from, can't believe he's dropped over a point from his August average! Although technically he's Oxford's 3rd heat leader. As for Schroeck don't understand how Oxford think he's the best manager available for 3 teams!
  16. Yes MPT has lost some form this year was once a formidable heat leader , maybe his injuries have affected him. Remember him winning the Peter Craven meeting in 2022 against a strong field .

  18. Absolutely correct IainB..I'm quite shocked that the Plymouth meeting survived with only two of their team available. It makes a mockery of speedway as a serious sport. I'm a rugby league fan of Workington Town, as well as the Comets, and I have always fought verbal differences with the fellow RL fans who ridicule speedway for so many reasons. One main weapon they'd use against me is the 'guest' system. For example Stoney guesting for a team challenging Comets for the title - how does that happen they ask. And it's so hard to convince non speedway folk it's acceptable (no it's not actually but hey ho) so at the next Town match I'll not supply them with Plymouth bullets to down me. Speedway is a great sport so badly organised.
  19. Putin has stolen hundreds of billions from Russia over the years, Donald helped himself to a free plane worth $400 mil so a couple of houses (if true) is small beer in the political corruption spectrum
  20. I remember when he first came on the scene he looked like the next big thing, heeps of (excuse the pun) natural talent on a bike, from memory he had a couple of bad wrist injuries very early on in his career and was never anymore than bang average past that point when he returned to racing.
  21. Rugby is a contact sport where even players of similar ability get hurt so it is very dangerous to ask players of lesser ability to compete as there is is very high risk of very bad injuries and there is no system to draw players from other teams except the youth teams n your club. Speedway in this country relies on a guest system because it is the only cost effective solution to the problem of injuries. I get your point though and there should be a maximum guest rule otherwise it could be a team full of guests.
  22. Have a look here, Royal Wootton Bassett Community Facebook this post says it all.(about 30 posts down) and some good replies Speedway is a dreadful idea in this location. RWB is being dumped on by what Swindon doesn’t want. More traffic, more pollution, more flooding in the area and disruption for the wildlife and everything the canal and all the volunteers have worked for (not sure walkers, riders and local wildlife and nesting birds and swans will appreciate the awful noise of a speedway and revving bikes). It’s not just the speedway but the go karting as well which will be noisy and also cause a lot of traffic in an already dangerous roundabout and road system. These posts are so boring, it is the same few people whinging in support of it and just attacking anyone they can who says anything against it (who funnily enough are all speedway racers looking at their pictures) they want to ruin it for the rest of us in our lovely town and people who actually value the countryside and cutting down on traffic in our area. If they had spent as much time complaining about the stadium not being rebuilt where it was originally then maybe something would have been done sooner and they would have their old stadium back in their original site rather than letting a developer buy them off and put it elsewhere. Please go to the planning portal to say what a dreadful idea this is for the environment, for the traffic and for local business at this site and make Swindon council take responsibility force the developers to build it where is was previously and not palm it off on RWB.
