  1. Past hour
  2. And the prize for 'How to contradict oneself in the same post', goes to... The rules at the end of the day are what they are, do most people agree with them, not really. But the reality is, Plymouth saw two riders injured less than 24 hours before staging this meeting. They also had two others injured from 7 days prior. At this point in the season to suggest they could sign replacements is a bit of a joke (as much of a joke as the guest system but hey ho). Context is everything.
  3. Well nearly end of the season for the Brummies, need to get an away win, just this one and Leicester left , probably stream this one. Got this daft idea of of going to the Leicester fixture, more likely get a win there, it being a gaters track (Yes I know I laughed out loud as well). But first we have to deal with the Aces on home shale, our no 1 (honest) will have to have his gating gloves on, a quicker bike and stop riding like a prat. Rew should get a few, Lambert (simon) rides well at this track, Hagon has had a few rides in various meeting at BV so expecting a good show from him. Paco always gives 100%. Zager always a happy hunting ground and former Bv no 1, he should be our ace in the pack. R/R for Jeppeson a bit of a blessing. We are certain to get double figues as there are 15 heats, but how many after that is anybodies guest, plus 30 and I`ll be dancing around the room. Come on the Brummies
  4. Everything I said was true, you just don’t like it because your team were the ones that pinched it. Just admit you took advantage of another teams terrible misfortune and got away with one that you didn’t deserve 🙄
  5. Bastian Pedersen is the Wildcard for the final round in Vojens. Reserves are 17 Nagel 18 Heiselberg
  6. He's actually seventh [of seven] in 2025 averages for all official fixtures http://www.gbspeedway.com/2025/teamstats.php?mc1=f&mc2=ta&mc3=av&mc4=Oxford Cheetahs&team=Oxford Cheetahs&league=B&comp=All&avtype=av&reload=Y#mobile_stats
  7. https://www.swindonadvertiser.co.uk/news/25393543.local-fight-starts-swindon-speedway-stadium-plans/ The sound of an aircraft landing that can be heard 10 miles away. It sounds awful!! Who wrote the leaflet? Clark Osborne?
  8. Didn't someone get in trouble recently for using that system?
  9. It doesnt take me that long cycling, you can take the tram too
  10. Ipswich were the best team on Paper last year, but injures cost them, but its cost a lot of teams over the years. The year before Belle Vue were the best team, if Charles wright would have been fit for the play offs Ipswich wouldn't have been in the final.
  11. hopefully some good races, hope Brummies put up more of a fight this time, the meeting 6 weeks ago was a long night.
  12. Quite. If the Witches face the Aces in the semi I can see them being beaten over two legs - past performance is no guarantee of future return!
  13. Apologies if this is already on here but I’ve just registered my support for this via https://development.wiltshire.gov.uk/pr/s/planning-application/a0iQ300000FdUf7IAF/pl202506229?tabset-8903c=3 It can only help.
  14. Today
  15. I don't think they deliberately not score point's as it's their living.
  16. Agree entirely. Watched him on a few occasions on BSN and has a very tidy style. Not afraid to go up to the fence either. Hopefully, could go far.
  17. Altrincham Town Centre to Manchester City Centre is around 20 to 25 mins in a car depending on time of day... M56, A34 being the quickest when I used to make the journey.. Although via Sale or the Princess Parkway also used to get me in to Piccadilly easily within 30 mins... Both very easy straight runs... Google has Altrincham to Gorton in 25 mins via M56, M60 but "cutting through" via A34 or A6, is even quicker... Simon Calder to play me....
  18. I'd be surprised if he rides next year.
  19. you cant ever achieve with heeps as a heat leader, hes just not good enough .
  20. It gives me no pleasure to say this but even without all the injuries and the missing riders, Oxford should still have made the playoffs, but for very poor tactical decisions made by the management. Just as has happened in the past it won’t be long before fans start dropping off and the goodwill will all but evaporate.
  21. Good effort by Workington, just missed out on the bonus point , we have a rest now before the big home test against Glasgow tigers. Hope Vinnie is ok, possible broken hand ?
  22. First of all, if you took the trouble to read some of my previous posts about the Plymouth "team", you'll see that I have given them praise. I totally understand why Plymouth fielded such a team because they've been ravaged by injury and they've let their Number 1 completely shaft them. This is not about Plymouth though, don't try and convince me that a "team" of 2 Plymouth riders should be taken seriously in a so called professional team Sport, it was only fit for a Best Pairs event. If they want to run the meeting, fine, great, get a big crowd in on a Saturday night, I'm happy for them... there's no way on this earth any league points gained by such a team, whoever they may be, should be added to their league tally, the points should have been forfeited before a wheel was turned. As the guest system is a necessity to run Speedway in the UK, I think 3 guests should be the limit for any team (and even that's not desirable), meaning at least the majority (3 riders + R/R) is riding for the named "team" in an event.
  23. Everyone bar you on this forum will understand why Plymouth fielded such a team! Maybe they should have waited till next year to stage the meeting when all the riders are fit and available, would that suit you?
  24. I mean the amount of time people keep bringing the issue of it being russia but nobody dares to speak of the issues that Ukraine bring is laughable. Media loves to make everything about Russia but if you actually see the drama Ukraine have brought and more shockingly how disgusting their people treat Poland as a country when they were given free housing, food, cars etc but still attack Polish people, attack Polish traditional, break Polish transport and hold signs at concerts saying “death to poles” but nobody moans when Ukraine are allowed into the speedway World Cup? Media agenda and targeting is a joke, politics in sport and as a whole is a joke, English people moan about these migrates but still think Ukraine is treated unfair. Nobody has been shown on English TV the city that is ‘war stricken’ in Ukraine but has now rebuild a brand new super night club with the funding from European money? Google Ibiza club Ukraine and see how fearful they really are this club was on its last legs but then had money from the war poured into it and renovated, it’s all on Polish news but you don’t see any of it in England, and be reminded that their president has bought two houses, one in Caribbean and one in Europe with your tax money.
  25. Not sure what's more predictable, you dissing Plymouth or Gavan moaning about Belle Vue lol
