  1. Past hour
  2. Guessing you haven't seen much racing at Wroclaw before. It's a great track.
  3. Starting to look like a battle between Oxford and Redcar for the last spot. Could all come down to Wednesday's meeting between the two sides, would be a huge boost for the Cheetahs if they take all three points. 1. Glasgow 2. Poole 3. Edinburgh 4. Oxford 5. Redcar 6. Berwick 7. Plymouth 8. Workington 9. Scunthorpe
  4. I have read that they estimate 500 spectators. This could be a cause for concern on the viability of the new stadium. For those people who have proof that Swindon was previously getting a lot more spectators I would urge you to write to the planning officer Oliver Phippen with evidence and explain how Speedway is a much more viable business (supported with planning policy) in contradiction to the applicant's statement (Swindon Motorsports).
  5. A fit for purpose RR would negate guests... Keep it simple... The rider being can be replaced by the riders above and below twice (if the manager wishes), with a max seven rides each in the meeting... No1 missing? Then any riders can take his place to a max of two of his four rides.. No7 missing? Then a No8 (unattached), comes in and takes two of his rides with the No6 doing the other two... Whatever rider is missing then that is the RR spot... Other riders may get injured in a meeting but that is sport so by all means have an IRR plan to accommodate it... Which includes any rider pulling out missing the next match as a matter of course so as to dissuade any dodgy practice... Ipswich's Tom Brennan making a massive contribution to Leicester winning the KO Cup is nonsense really isn't it? And so many guestfests take place needlessly due to the RR system being so flawed, and are often due to one or other of the teams seeing an opportunity for a few ringers being brought in.. Simply. In 2025 this sport will never be taken seriously by the wider media and public with such a system in place..
  6. produce a track that is for racing and everyone's a winner, produce the usual gate and go track and its three hours of boredom.
  7. Has the Wild Card been published? If its Dudek then he could be a spoiler for both...
  8. Isn't Greg Hancock his advisor/manager, probably on a % cut, so someone will benefit from all the extra meetings, I said earlier on here that I thought he was doing too much too soon, but just wait and see, just hope the next young kid Cooper Rushden, keeps more grounded ?
  9. A rider without a team in either division in the top 20?.
  10. Absolutely agree I'm a fan of lukes, definitely one for the future

  12. Today
  13. Given his age and experience I fail to see why there can be any criticism of Harrison this season. He is a class act for his age.
  14. 8 day rule, can't guest on same track twice in 8 days
  15. Sound like Leicester have ran out of lux.... I'll get me coat....
  16. Why would Lewi not be allowed? Wouldn't he now fall into the 'someone from the Championship' category.....
  17. Or getting your RS to pull out 'injured' so you can replace them with your GP reserve......
  18. You probably think that was an incredibly funny comment. It wasn't And well done to the Tigers for another entertaining meeting.
  19. Yes but we need him to score some as Starke is not scoring many and Glasgow looking very strong and could easily beat us to top spot.
  20. One or two decent races but overall not great with Sam Masters the stand out rider.Great to see Ricky Ashowrth at the meeting.Spoke to my relation Ashley on the second bend from Belford and has been a long term supporter of the banditoos. Not been for a few years now and like the place etc but racing is what it is.
  21. even before the rain it was a borefest, even after the rain it was a borefest,,,,highlight of the meeting, the adverts Kurtz is riding well, Freddie has the biggest pair of balls going, BZ is the entertainer, the rest will have the odd GP here and there to raise the pulses. The tracks in general for the GP's are little more than a gaters paradise, boils my piss when we are six races in and we are told that the track will come good, over a quarter of the way through a meeting and its follow the leader, Then after any track preparation it goes back to gate and go.
  22. I thought the racing wasn't great at Riga last night and the stadium was not even full, even though the capacity there is not much. The racing wasn't great either. Worrying times for the SGP. The final result was good though and thanks to Brady Kurtz the world championship is still open with two rounds at Wroclaw and Vojens still to come.
  23. I suspect cairns will not score much at all until the playoffs, poole need him to get his average down for next seasons team plans.
