First time to Northampton. What a great setup. If they could get a bit more banking on the corners I think it would make for more racing lines, but we still have to remember that it's still a first year track. I remember Scunthorpe having to make several adjustments when they firs started. As a Sheffield fan I had a great night but for me the ride of the night was "Reggi" in ht.14. that was hat he was brought in to do and would love to see more of it. I wish all the best to the Foxes as they are a great addition to the league and speedway in general.

British final 15th August

SF postponed now being staged at Leicester on sunday 19th July 2pm start -
Doyle is only a 28 day injury cover. If Dan is then back and, Doyle genuinely wants to ride in this league then he would be a MUST at Northampton maybe mr Lemon would block that as he would know how comp that would make us.

I agree with the bold part, however no place of work is a charity (unless it is an actual charity of course) and if you don't perform you're rightly moved on.

Ipswich v Kings Lynn 18th June

But some people like to read what was in the postponed programme and at least it's still relevant a couple of weeks later rather than three months later when that one gets re-staged. It was also more than just an insert with race details, there was some commentary/narrative. Maybe £2.50 would've been better. -
I have to say that I am impressed with how hard the two promoters are working. Everything is taking shape nicely off the track. On it, not quite as well. considering how late the team was put together snd how limited the options were, I think the team is performing better than 99% of us expected. yes, there are massive inconsistencies in individual riders performances but that was always going to be the case. Considering the established reputations of several of the riders. on the whole, the team have been in most meetings, especially until heat 13. That then shows the lack of top end power. This team is one rider short of being very competitive against everyone bar maybe belle vue. it will be interesting to see just how ambitious the promoters are as with ZAGAR due to be recovered soon, will they make changes and push on into the playoffs? the only moan I have is that we have now had two meetings , ( last night snd Lynn away), where the lack of tactical knowse from the team manager in not switching his reserves snd better utilising the signing of the season, in Kai Thomson, has cost us both those meetings. To not give Kai extra rides last night snd still give Harrison all four, was criminal. come on Paul and Tony, bring back ZAGAR when fit , keep jonas. One change is all we need to make the playoffs snd turn these last heat deciders into wins.

I think you’ll probably find most road users these days suffer from some sort of mental illness of one thing or another that can affect their judgment. And that could have catastrophic effects on say a motorway. Affecting dozens of other road users. A speedway race affecting 3 others which is definitely 3 too many. So I understand your point too and like you say, it’s all about context and circumstances

Let's face it most riders are "start tarts", the real question should be is... Who Is The Next Chris Harris?

I have always thought they should save a rain off programme for when it’s re arranged with an insert, at least it’s relevant to the team they are actually riding against -
He has a British passport, so no different to Workington dropping etherngton for max Perry except etherington is only 17 so by your logic that's worse.

Those were the days when on paper Lynn looked unbeatable Bo Peterson went from supreme around Lynn to terrible and dear old John Davis only knew the outside line and always left a gap on the inside you could have stuck the titanic through. King started like the heir to Penhall but a couple of bad bangs then held him back. -

And something that gets my back up is paying full price for a programme which is 2 weeks old with an insert. I realise that costs are involved but they should just charge enough to cover them. -

Always used to, seems to have been discouraged last couple of seasons since Morris came in and made a song and dance about meetings running smoothly/quickly blah blah cos you know stuff like that ie crowd engagement is what annoys punters about the meetings dragging on! 🙄 -
Riders start the sport at different ages. Rising star shouldnt necessarily mean a young person. In this case, they are replacing a British lad with an Aussie who, by all accounts, has been performing well at ndl level but in the reserve berth. Doesn't sit right with me

Good to see Sheffield finally get an away win this season, decent away following as well. Chris Holder rolling back the years.
