An awful display from an awful team, let’s not beat around the bush. Poor management for keeping Lawson, the guy is absolutely useless and out of his depth at this level, stay at Poole and don’t come back. His little hissy fit after heat 13 when everyone shut off after the finish line but he decides to go full throttle even down the back straight, grade a 🔔 end in my opinion and never want him back at Ipswich. Also, poor look for the riders to not come out and see the paying fans who stuck by them after a shocking season and not even wave when everyone knows we aren’t going back to Foxhall this season.

I can’t believe anybody seriously thought that Ipswich could win tonight let alone challenge over 2 legs… serious question…is it likely Ipswich will be staging a GP…Or is it just a rumour given that Richard Coleman runs both shows ?….if Ipswich is definitely in line then it would be a huge mistake

Well, the result was as expected maybe but fans were given hope with the 5-1 in heat 1. Unfortunately as I feared it was mega slick and served up the worst meeting of the season, simply nothing you could do if behind. All the best to the Aces for the final, let's hope it's not too one-sided.

Bigger picture thinking. I know Mark is pleased to have Richard on board to provide some much needed backing in moving things forward. This, no doubt provided a better gate for the witches and that’s what we all want. Belle Vue’s gate will be hit somewhat with a similar crowd as this evening in attendance. Looking forward to visiting again next year for our regular away victory.

As said expected result … Kurtz can gate race over Shows how far Ipswich have fallen from absolutely destroying a stronger Belle Vue last season Emil replaced by Lawson Dan T replaced by Nicholls Ellis replaced by KJP The only change that worked a bit was Tobi for Doyle The other 3 changes were so much weaker Hopefully plans are afoot for a much better team next season and I hope that Lawson never rides for us again Belle Vue can only beat what’s in front of them but this has been the most one sided boring season since we won it in 1998 Last season all 4 teams had a realistic chance if winning This season only one team can win it and it’s been dull as you like

He was never the same after the England match on TV just after the new starting rules and Frank Ebdon kept stopping his starts and he quit the meeting…

God help the sport if they think Ipswich is a venue that should hold a round of the GP. Ideas above their station comes to mind. Speedway has lost its way if those in charge seriously think that Foxhall Heath is a creditable venue for the sports premier event. Stranger things have happened.

I think he’d be better suited returning to Belle Vue and the NSS if it was possible. The best place to get his mojo back I think.

Tbf Aces fans rarely turn up any week, The NSS is like the Etihad Stadium of British Speedway which both just so happen to be based in Manchester.

This is a far cry of how things use to end and it is a shame for those who turned out tonight for the last meeting of the season. The Aces have also been short changed as the second leg is a non event and if it were possible it would better to save money all around by not running it and the Aces await the opposition from the other leg. Why waste money on opening up the stadium to run a meeting which has nothing riding on it and will no doubt cost the club money.

And Kurtz did his usual.... Happy with paid ten off four and didn't do heat 15..

The whole thing was summed up by Mark Lemon being the manager to do some "damage limitation" in Heat 15, and not using his GP stars to deliver another 1-5....

I'm sure the 2027 British GP at Foxhall will be a thrill an hour.

To be fair they did the best they could with what was available (Northampton aside) but at some point not having a number one and two very average at best reserves meant always potentially going to get spanked when up against two genuine world class riders. As others have said 2027 is the litmus test I'm just not convinced the rumoured Polish rider on a tight track like Ippo is the way to go next year.

What we really should think about is that a King's Lynn team which had all winter to sort their riders, still finished below this woeful Ipswich team!

When will the full line-up for next year series and venues be officially revealed?

Musielak winning the final race around Foxhall in 2026 is very fitting.

A very poor advert for the play offs, no fight from Ipswich. Far too easy for Belle Vue.
