Thank you for your positivity. Do you really think Redcar would not have looked at every available option before booking Jye ? Have you ever been a team manager? Looking for a guest to ride on a Friday night ? In Glasgow ? With 6 teams in action ?

A conversation I had on Facebook with someone regarding Northampton and speedway being introduced to the track they seemed to think the track would be to narrow once a air fence was put up - the obvious answer would be I thought bring in the white line a bit - there is definitely a catchment area of fans with Pboro not so far away and Coventry as well .

I thought it was April 1st!! Is that really the best rider available? His average is below 5, replacing a heat leader.Another away defeat. -

What do Redcar fans think of Etheridge guesting? I think r/r would be the better option: King, Edwards, Mulford & Pijper or Scott. Two riders stronger, 2 riders weaker (although Mulford isn't a lot weaker). -

And also three match away ban for the club so I've seen! 80,000 zloty of the ban must be paid to the account of Foundation of Poland Motor Association to help the treatment of Daniel Kaczmark. -

I understand the reasoning was that the guest regulation states the rider must have previously achieved an official CMA and that because that was the case despite Lamberts average being considered assessed he was allowed to guest!! Until there is no possibility of a different answer depending on who is asking and when the sham will continue.... -
Is It Finally Time For One League?
ShanoXtra replied to TheSmiler's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
After last night the only riders worth watching were Doyle and Emil, the others were shocking! I want to watch the best riders compete, not a bunch of juniors. If that's your thing, go watch NDL. You say you are fed up of watching the same riders week in and week out but that's the same for Ekstraliga. We only run more fixtures to get more money into the clubs, if you don't want to watch the round 2 of matches then don't, nobody is forcing you. Again, nothing to do with Polish clubs letting riders come to Britain, its due to costs for expenses, having bikes here and mechanics and wanting big money plus the headache of Visas because we left EU making everything in life harder now. -

Should be a cracking meeting, as the weather has to clear up and should be fairly warm. With RR, it means everyone can potentially cover Dan's rides and hopefully Tate goes well for us at no.4. Tate scored 7+1 from 5 rides at no.2 last year and I'd take more of the same tonight please. -

Is It Finally Time For One League?
FishersGate replied to TheSmiler's topic in SGB Premiership Speedway League
It is time for one league. One of the reasons why I've only been to my club Leicester once this season is down to the lack of variety, it's the same riders every other week. There is zero incentive for me to watch Ipswich one week when I know in a few weeks time we could be facing them in the KO cup or the play offs. People will say there isn't enough riders and that's it, but is that my problem to fix? No it isn't. I don't go to watch speedway for GP stars, I go for the speedway. I love watching Fricke every week at Leicester, but I also loved watched the Thompson twins come through the ranks taking on the senior pros. That was just as exciting for me as watching a GP star. Let's be honest we only have a few GP stars anyways? Were missing Lambert, Bartosz, Laguta, Lingren etc. We only have the riders that are allowed here by there polish clubs lets be honest. They just come here for fun some would say. Let's not forget how expensive they are as well. Costing thousands every week! We can manage one big league, how? Maybe look at what some of championship clubs have done this season, some brand new riders to the league and promoting the youth from the NDL. It would lower the standard but I don't care, let's back the kids and give them plenty of riders and pay them a reasonable wage so riders like Sonny Springer can get back into speedway. -
The weird thing is that Robert was riding on an assessed* average so he needed to complete 3+3, which he didnāt do for either Belle Vue or Kings Lynn so he remains on his old average. The problem is when Sheffield wanted to use him as a guest I informed them (BSPL) that he couldnāt due to being assessed* but they said heās not (all of a sudden, brown envelopes at the ready) but they never treated his average as such ie rolling. When you weave a tangled web it is very easy to trip yourself up, best to just stick to the rules. Second year running that Bates tried to circumvent the rule book at play off time and for the latter he was successful.
