  1. Past hour
  2. Instead of renaming competitions, they could think about mandating all clubs run a junior team and give these kids some bike and track time! I'm not keen on him myself... but that's great šŸ‘The sport needs these marmite characters... or just characters would be a start.
  3. Agree Friday semi and final spoilt by the rain but I feel overall slightly better on Friday but I’m nitpicking both nights were very good
  4. BSN, i had pictures that were pixalating when the racing was in full flow, i know they mentioned it during the meeting so were aware of the issue. Racing and presentation of the meeting, far too long to run a meeting, track looked awful and a number of riders looked out of shape on it!. I thought Rushen, Cairns, Scott, Loftus, Perry, Foord, Pijper all looked good.....regarding Pijper he will soon learn when having an engine failure you just don't "dump" the bike on the track for your mechanic to pick up, right there right then showed a poor attitude, only something small but stood out a mile.
  5. I'm going to put the case for the 2020's. It's getting a raw deal. Umm, errr, hmmm Case proven🫢
  6. No SGP2 Finals and SGP 3 final are NOT being filmed( see other thread about Mayfield Sports).
  7. Today
  8. I feel like both nights were the opposite to each other personally. Friday started off electric and gradually weakened until it finished, whereas Saturday started slower and ramped up to an epic final. If I were given the choice I would choose Saturday as a brilliant final leaves a better taste in the mouth.
  9. My guess would be zero percent. If they're not even showing the SGP2 then this is definitely not going to be broadcast. Saying that though, it will most likely be streamed direct on FIM-Moto, so it's being shown somewhere, just not on television.
  10. Just want to add to the praise and thanks for the two stunning GPs - the racing was so exciting as the track comes to the riders as the meeting proceeds and no matter what anyone says, the fans in the stadium loved it even if they were filling in their programmes! Met some nice fans, including a young man who has been seeing BV since 1955! He was as excited as anyone around when Kurtz won! I am happy to get a 2 for 1 for such high quality speedway and I'll try and be back next season too - despite having my car broken into in a city centre car park, it was worth it (almost!)
  11. I agree that Cairns did not 'torpedo' Ace, but he did knock him down and deserved the exclusion. I thought Ace's reaction was a bit over the top. I think it was more down to the fact that he didn't win the title on his home track. Got out-gated and frustration boiled over once he bit the dirt. Will is certainly a marmite character, of that there's no doubt.
  12. No I was not there but what I saw of the crash on tv, he did not torpedo Pjiper and was unfortunate to get excluded.
  13. Its my guess the club will want to save money and put up with r/r for 4 weeks until they HAVE to find a replacement ? We did ok with 9 pts from r/r last time.
  14. Line up and live updates for SF2, Pardubice, 17.06.2026: https://live.baansportfansite.nl/event/1160/fim-sgp3-world-championship-semi-final-2-pardubice.html
  15. "Speedway from the Gods" I think Friday night the racing was better , on Saturday it took a few heats to get going but ended in a Crescendo . One night GP at the NSS would be ideal but financially its not viable with the current capacity of the stadium. The Fanzone has run its course a bit unless it has more substance cannot really see the point , we went in walked round in 5 minutes and came out.
  16. No, do not miss the long journey south , the expensive hotels..etc. I,m past the going out and having too many drinks now.
  17. Think they need to look at the line up for this type of meeting going forward, you had too many young lads there who struggled to turn the bike in the dirt and control the bike to stay on for 4 laps, the gaps between 1st and 4th in some races was around half a lap which just isn’t competitive. Even it’s a case of dropping the u21 title and making it u24 where the more experienced u21 riders (those with Championship places maybe as a minimum) will mix it with those who recently moved on from that age group but are in a bit of no man’s land.
  18. I wouldn't imagine anything. He most likely left because there wasn't a guarantee the Witches would come to tapes in 2026 at the time. Personally if I was a witches fan I'd be happy to see my old number one back in the UK regardless of who it was for
  19. Watched the last SON from the top of the Monster rig situated there... (Thanks Monster Joe, free food and bar for two days!!!).. And seeing the riders fly down the straight, and cut across each other, at full speed, at the last moment on that third turn, is incredible to see...
  20. He’d need to bin off one of Sweden or Denmark first before he can race in UK. But if the money is right I’m sure he’d drop one, the Poles don’t call him ā€˜Dollar Doyle’ for nothing šŸ’°
  21. We using a guest on sat? Could do with a fast starter!
  22. Imo cairns seems to think he is a lot better than he is, if he gates will win, but if he misses the gate he struggles to pass, or if he does it's reckless, daddy's money won't help him passing other riders though 😜
  23. Wonder what the witches fans would make of that
  24. I remember hearing Kelvin say at the GP over the weekend that Doyley wouldn't mind coming back to the premiership - he's obvioiusly not going to be a direct replacement for Bewley but he does like the NSS, and he's an aussie so would fit in quite well with the team / management. No idea on whether his average fits, I would assume so. Might even free up some room to replace another rider who's not performing as well as expected.
