Don't disagree with any of that if the Bates chuck the towel in who knows if someone new will step in. I've just been watching my son learn to snowboard and was passing the time reading an article on music festivals and you could read across to speedway , a few years ago there were over a 1,000 a year now roughly 500 and falling, the article quoted almost same problems as speedway repetition of acts, to high ticket prices, cost of running the whole set up gone through the roof since covid, people prefer watching big acts in footy stadiums.

I remember that series we’ll alias smith and jones.

Whilst I knew we couldn’t cover Dan’s paid 18 from our previous fixture, I was happy that Jason’s 5 rides would get us a decent haul but Aces luck struck again. I have to say though that the way we rallied to the cause was fabulous. We lost out due to misfortune but with the way trophies are now decided, it’s terrific to see how they joined forces to deny the opposition any kind of foothold over 30 heats.

Good meeting on BSN. Belle Vue should never have lost this even with Doyle crashing out.

No idea what the tractor is trying to grade, there is sod all shale out there, just another typical British Speedway meeting, dry and dusty, and most of the points are from the gate.

It's interesting that football match was on at stadium last Saturday! That would indicate electricity problem relates to speedway problems ?

Surely though we must be getting to the point where the straw breaks the camels back. Sheffield (publicly know of course) have lost heavily on the last couple of meetings and we know crowd figures have not been healthy at other tracks. But with that potential scenario in mind what possibly can Poland feed off?

Teams are built at the start of the year within the points limit, but more importantly are built to come within a budget, Don't know if you've noticed but our crowds could be a lot better, unless your gonna put your hand in your pocket to help out the promotion. Just be thankful we have speedway to watch at which is probably the best race track and viewing in the country 😀. I was at Poole last night they had a crowd of 1500 - 1800 so they can afford the best riders
