  1. Past hour
  2. Gutted for the lad, he's come back from terrible injuries before and I'm sure he will again 👍🏻
  3. Surely his club should also have taken an interest to make sure the right paperwork was in place, given Cooper is only just 16 and in his first season in the league I am always amazed that clubs, and riders, are not fully conversant with the regulations. Mind you, it's not just speedway. I was at a talk this week where an international sport referee said that players in that sport regularly didn't know the laws
  4. “At Oxford on Wednesday 13th May despite Cooper being involved in 2 incidents on track, he continued to ride and was not withdrawn from the meeting or received any medical documentation from the Oxford medical team.” “So having not received any medical documentation from Oxford on the Wednesday” These two parts do come across as If he’s putting some form of blame on them, but it’s not on Oxford medical team to withdraw him if he’s chosen to continue to ride. It’s also on him if he’s not went and got a document signed by the doctor at the end of the night to say he had received an injury during the meeting. So really it’s his own fault, even though the rule is a bit daft in situations like this.
  5. Best wishes for a full and speedy recovery.Dan is great guy and so sad to get serious injury when in such good form on his career.
  6. If Thomsen stays fit he will get the whole series now. 4or5 replacing Lindgren and then remainder replacing Bewley.
  7. Today
  8. Amazing he can still be so positive... Best wishes to him... Let's hope his Polish team doesn't fine him!!! They certainly won't be able to replace him, probably will run RR/ZZ until he comes back... Hopefully he will be back before the end of the season... Such a shame given he was certainly currently top two in the world in real terms ..
  9. Terrible news he was looking good in his meeting for Wroclaw and the first SGP. Get well soon Dan and a speedy recovery.
  10. Looked like a mechanical issue but terrible crash. Hit the airfence and broke the support post. Get well soon Dan - Speedy recovery.
  11. Apparently not, as I can’t see where he blames Oxford either
  12. Also has a compressed vertebrae in his back.
  13. Obviously it depends on the severity but speaking from experience, I'm in constant pain which limits what activities I can do 4 years after shattering mine.
  14. Such bad news. get well soon Dan.
  15. No need to say that, its a broken femur. How can that be career ending, ridiculous thing to say.
  16. Devastated for Dan. Sadly, that could be a career-ending injury.
  17. Sad news for Dan, gutted for him. Bad news for speedway fans everywhere who love seeing him race as much as I do.
  18. Absolutely. No blame there that I can see. He continued to ride so why would he need medical documentation? The rule is bonkers, obviously somebody has pulled a fast one at sone point and spoiled it for everyone else. Some common sense could surely be applied as he has missed four meetings!
  19. Think by the look of it the tyre could have burst or popped off the rim if he was using the tubeless system these are running I think about 120psi to hold the tyre onto the rim before you put the tyre pressure into them
  20. That talks been around since they started using the tripe they are now. Not sure what they use in other countries though.
  21. Bednar, Pollestad, Drejer, theres a few more
  22. Awful news for Dan Bewley as a person, for his pursuit of a GP crown and as a Belle Vue rider as nigh on impossible to replace in the team
