  6. I don't think he can cope with the pressure of being a number one he seems okay if he sits below someone like Jack Holder, Woffy or Fricke.
  7. If Tolley continues somewhere else he should do it at Championship level to stem losses, try and get Rosco in as team manager and ideally find an experienced co-promoter. His heart is clearly in the right place but he needs a competent team around him.
  8. Brilliant times I can remember heading down to Foxhole one bank hol mon afternoon early nineties for the derby was over five thousand their.

  12. Yesterday
  13. I think what I said was that I hoped to get to Workington at some point in the future. I certainly did NOT say I get my fix at Workington. But feel free to put up the post where I say I go to Workington. I doubt very much you will find it though 'cos I never said it. Tell you what, I'll save you the bother My actual quote That's total rubbish. Very few of my just over 5,000 posts have been "moaning" about Berwick or "Mr. Barrie". My "observations" are not all negative about Berwick. Re-read my previous post where I praise previous and the current promotions. The only thing you are correct about is I go to Redcar by choice. That's my personal choice. And when I get the chance, I will head across to the West Coast to go to a Workington meeting.
  14. Workington stopped racing at Derwent Park many years ago. For the last few years since Newcastle have unfortunately closed, you have said you get your speedway fix at Redcar and Workington. You said that about going to Redcar and Workington, not me (we have heard it plenty of times on Berwick threads). Seems to me you were therefore making it up about going to Workington to make Berwick look bad.
  15. I saw many meetings at Workington at Derwent Park, but it was my first meeting at Northside. How difficult is it to understand that???
  16. Adam was due to ride in Poland today but the meeting was cancelled.
  17. We have started this page to support Scunthorpe Scorpion Jake Allen, who during one of his last league fixtures of the season, experienced a series of unfortunate events leaving him with only one salvageable bike going into his remaining fixtures. During his first ride an engine was blown therefore leading him to race on his second bike. In his second a crash caused him to lose the vast majority of his second bike including front wheel, diamond, handle bar and both guards. There was also damage to his forks and helmet. The costs are yet to be determined but are estimated to be £1,500. Jake wanted to publicly thank those who approached him Friday to offer their support, have sent messages since and Colin Poole for his support in piecing together his bent and broken frames since Friday’s fixture. Fundraiser by Dan Palmer : Help get Jake Allen back on track!
  18. Anyone know if thst polish guy riding for mildenhall is the same guy who sued Scunthorpe ?

  20. They have their moments, not helped by that dickhead fan power,Nora no longer do bike scrutineering because of an incident where someone tried to sue them, up till now HSE seem to understand motorsport is dangerous and everyone does it of their own free will so don’t really get involved too much
  21. Anders Thomsen engine has been found to be WITHIN regulations and the final score will remain.
  22. we are never convincing on lunchtime meetings we would be better sticking to Evening meetings i can only see a narrow Aces win !!
  23. Yep pain for them when they racing the late meeting in Poland and have to be at Belle Vue early, won't be getting much sleep.
