Announced today that in October greyhounds are taking the Sunday afternoon slot. Did not say if this was for the winter only but must be risky if it is a hit for next season. Chargers on a Sunday afternoon worked well.

I always attend every home meeting. Poole much better tonight. Weaker opposition but much more determined. Good to see. - Today

Are you expecting the season to go into November, and got your excuse in for when you can't attend ๐ -
Itโs down to having a legitimate competition that captures the imagination. This then starts to build crowds that then starts to build atmosphere & then it self builds as people talk & want to get involved.

SGP New promotor from 2026
IainB replied to DutchGrasstrack's topic in Speedway Grand Prix and Speedway World Cup
Not great that they previously promoted the 2023 & 2024 SGP's at Cardiff, 2023 being the near disaster that they unbelievably won FIM Speedway Local Organiser of the Year prize for. As far as I could tell it received pretty much zero promotion. Hopefully they'll be more invested now they're running the whole shooting match, at least they're starting from a pretty low base after the WBD years, so the only way should be up... let's see what the future brings. -
No problem with TNT, but the other bunch of clowns need to be jettisoned. Its one of the worst things British Speedway has done - and let's face it, it's done some dozy things over the years.

Think you'll have to go to Holsted if you want to see Knudsen. -

Iโve always advocated when it comes to getting people to attend its largely down to what happens on the outside of the fence that matters

You reckon? They have very strong reserves in Heeps and Knudsen. They should clean up, especially Heeps. -

Bloody exciting. Either going to romp league 2 or crash and burn. Holloway has sorted out the mess. -
Yeah, I know why your numbers include the bonus ๐ He is very close. But the point was, there are very few riders who approach Bomber's consistency over the last few years. To say he's been poor when it matters is daft. His 13+1 at Armadale mattered - it was a crucial contribution to an away win against Edinburgh! I'd say most Glasgow fans would say that mattered!
