I take it she is actually a he? You all seem to know him/her

Feel for King, it isn’t just tonight he hasn’t been on it all season. Need to support him though because he’s a damn good rider at this level. On another note, what a class act Doyle is. Dragged us out of a hole more than once. Is there another rider around that’s not just as good as him, but gives his all every time in our country? Worth his weight in gold this fella.

So, what your saying is that 'crescent girl' is actually a dick?
  4. 3 points
Christ no, not even on a 2.00 average, I’d rather we ran with three riders in a heat.

I doubt very much that any money changes hands although if anyone organises a collection to get rid then I'll get my wallet out.

Yes, all fair points, when i say the track is not conducive to junior racing I am referring to the lesser (junior) riders of a CL team that i see trying to get around Leicester. Nobody stands out, I think it's fair to say even the highly rated Anders Rowe has failed to get to grips with the track and even the likes of Drew Kemp & Jordan Palin have failed to ever show anything. Anyway, you may just have sold it to me you rascal, I'll see what the teams are like after Saturday and what the weather is like on Sunday and may just pop along to see what all the fuss is about

I’d have been happy with a point before the start but left feeling a bit frustrated it wasn’t more in the end. Two really poor starts from Niels in 10 & 12 cost him. The outside line didn’t work all meeting so what on earth Jorgensen was thinking in heat 14, god only knows. Just left the inside open lap after lap and eventually Riss took the invite. Doyle was head and shoulders above everyone and never really looked like being beaten. Even when behind, only a matter of time before hitting the front. Riss looking more and more like the rider we know he can be. Worst I’ve seen King by a mile. For the Stars, impressed again with Lewi and surprised he didn’t get the nod in heat 15, though Lawson did spring into life a bit after being quiet early on. How Jorgensen didn’t stack it after picking up in heat 10 I’ll never know. The team is looking solid though and other than Wolves away, been competitive everywhere. Mom - R/R for Starke. Match winning 8+1, what a stroke of luck for Ipswich he didn’t make it

Impossible, as we have informed so many times he doesn't do forums and the like.

The youth championship was in the fixture list at the start of the season. It's been in the programme every week. It was announced multiple times at the track v. Poole. Agree it's poor the websites is not updated regularly but the meeting was well advertised elsewhere

I am surprised that there is not the same rule in speedway as there is for road racing where long hair must be contained within the riders helmet or clothing. I know you have the cut outs that should kill an engine quickly in the case of a crash to me there is still plenty of risk of long hair getting tangled in moving bike parts and causing a really nasty injury.

Rule 04.1/1 instructs that scarves or neckerchiefs must not trail so as to be a possible source of danger. While not mentioning hair, it is reasonable to assume a referee might consider trailing hair to fall into the same category. Grey area?

Thank you. I hadn't seen that.

Could Jeremy Doncaster be worth a gamble? If he finds 1988 form you could make a run for the playoffs
  16. 1 point
Yes I know the answer - very little demand probably due to their relatively low crowds and admission price. Slow connection when required to print receipts. Two of the three meetings streamed were from empty stadiums with no other demands on the upload connection - but not without incident. Birmingham I don't know as I was busy elsewhere in the stadium that day and don't know what specific measures BSN had in place. Seem to remember complaints on here - but that's not usually a true measure of reality. Feel free to invent a parallel reality to fit your agenda.

Do you have to pay to park at Leicester? Free at Berwick We have the cheapest championship prices that I’ve found to be honest, taking in parking, entrance and a programme

Have you tried stand-up comedy ? With this post it seems you have the aptitude to so.

Would Crump be worth a gamble? If he finds his 2006 form, we could make a run for the play-offs.

But that would depend if the promotion would want him back

Why can you be aggressive to people but when someones tells you to shut up you get all offended?

Interesting, but untrue. Reference to the referee's official report to the SCB on Berwick's double-header on June 5th last year -- endorsed by SCB Track Inspector Mick Bates, who was in attendance -- tells us that 30 heats (plus one re-run) were completed by 21.15, well ahead of the curfew. Dust? Yes, on what the report observes was a dry, sunny June evening, dust appeared after Heat 6, but was controlled. What you imply was a meeting being rushed through to meet a curfew was in fact a meeting of 31 starts which was briskly and efficiently presented.

Maybe that's why senior riders very seldom do a lap of honour, it's an extra 25% in fuel,,, or maybe tha just keeping an eye on tha carbon footprint?
