Championship Pairs - Sep 1st

Anybody know who's racing who in their 4 qualifying heats? Will make a huge difference who qualifies and gets pick of gates.

With the scoring system used in pairs events I don't think there is much in the "home track advantage" argument. Not having to beat both riders is a different kettle of fish. However the short format will mean maximum scores will be the deciding factor for qualification to the latter stages.

You'd have to say Oxford and Plymouth have an advantage with a strong pair plus meeting a weakened Edinburgh. Glasgow draw was a bit harsh!!

8 home winners in 23 years suggests there is some advantage too be had.

The one competition Plymouth are half decent in ..

Was half expecting Lawson to pull out cos still carrying on injury and us to have Ben and Zach but Poole still promoting him as part of the pair.
