Unlikely if the team limit drops to 38!

Steve Worrall's average will be 7.84 with 2.5% reduction. Howarth's will 7.76 with reduction. Looking at latest GSAs. Think that is doable?

If the point limit does drop to the widely rumoured 38, it could be a straight swap Douglas for zaine kennedy. Although I would prefer Howarth, kennedy and Hagon for Dougls, Allen and Ablitt.

We have lost Douglas, probably lost Kemp, MPT indicated earlier in the season this was his last year in the Championship. Ablitt has been poor, and Mountain has not kicked on.  That leaves Jake and Lambo plus 5 others. Howarth is as good as Worrall around the EWR ,so take your pick. Rob's next protégé will be Luke Harrison, but probably a year too early to step up? Its all rumour until definitive points limit is agreed, but it sounds like Championship is being watered down. Seen some good racing this season, but fear next year there will be much more strung out races.

Can't disagree it's early for luke he did a decent job at Redcar but did find it tough going at times. Thing is for a group of about 12 riders it's probably going to be a choice of step up or fade away after the imminent demise of the Ndl

At least if Luke steps up there should be a couple of other youngsters have to do the same.He done great job at Redcar considering he was thrown in at the deep end.IMO.His Workington form was excellent.

Ablitt has upped his average, riding mainly at number 6 (harder rides). Mountain was awesome at number 7, but looks like a solid 5 point rider when in the team (not slagging him off, not every rider make it to HL level).

I'd disagree with the last comment, if some top riders are dropping out, then the gap between strongest & weakest riders should be smaller & racing should logically be closer?

Where’s MPT going to earn his money then.

Exactly my thought I know at the press and practice he sort of jokingly said it would be last season but with him not having a great season in the premiership i think he may rethink that idea

I don't know what's more bonkers: MPT dropping the Championship or Godfrey's next protege (who are the rest?).

After the way Mr.S. Worrall did the dirty on Scunthorpe  ( agreed to ride then went to Workington and then they closed ) why would Rob risk signing someone who didnt keep to his word!!
