poole keith 912 Posted November 18, 2023 I suppose teams will now be able to bring in specialist guests for second strings at tricky away matches ,also I'm not overly confident about clubs sticking with the youth development programme, It will be interesting to monitor how many blank weeks we have at Poole??
screm 8,067 Posted November 18, 2023 *TRANSFER WINDOW: The traditional end-of-August transfer cut-off has been replaced by a transfer window, which will close when a club has completed 75 per cent of their regular league matches. This is idiotic, they have created a situation where every club could have a different closure of their transfer window creating an advantage for those who have a late window.

Four out of six and wasting your hopes on the other 2, perhaps 1 current NDL Team and a new 1 will make up the 6 and I suspect it will be set up in order to move out those topping up their wages and allow new riders in. The rest of PL and CL who havent got a NDL team have to run a Stand alone National Youth Meeting or a structured youth 2nd half. Speedtiger 327 Posted November 18, 2023 Sure more details will come out but basically it’s underwhelming stuff and is more of the same rinse and repeat as we’ve had now for a few seasons. Clubs will inevitably loose money go bust and close again and sadly the sport will continue its slow demise. They’ve spent the best part of a week and imo come out with nothing really new innovative or exciting.
RoundTheBoards 271 Posted November 18, 2023 5 hours ago, Derrickn said: So which are the six clubs who have said they will run in the NDL.?. Berwick, Kent and Mildenhall have pulled out which leaves 5. Add in Scunthorpe Stags (as given away by BSPL website) and your 6 are:- Armadale, Belle Vue, Leicester, Oxford, Scunthorpe & Workington. Triple.H. 1,988 Posted November 18, 2023 Those teams that will have to run a structured second half for junior racing will have to pull their socks up. No long delays to the start of the meeting because of a queue to get in. Unless there's a major incident in the area closing roads etc. Only breaks in the meeting from the official start time for grading and an interval or if there's a bad crash etc which we all know will happen at some point. If they have to re-grade the track after the main meeting, they won't have an interval as well, surely?
