The. only match that ever looked sold out on TV was when Lakeside promoted the free meeting - a few thousand were there - of course most never came back! I will give our old promotoer his due he really tried to promote things!

At one point I’m sure the idea of having TV money was so that clubs could discount the prices and attract more to come, the benefit to them being it would look better on TV and attract new supporters but alas they got greedy and wanted both the TV money and keep gate prices high.

He doesnt need to contact Brady... Because he knows more about Brady's injury than the doctor who signed him off... More than even the physio who spent almost a week helping him to ride on Friday (a Wroclaw paid for physio by the way).. And more than Mark Lemon, (an ex rider and his manager), who didn't put any pressure on him to ride at Leicester, as he knew the locking up of the bike on such a track, wouldn't help the injury... And obviously, as everyone knows, if you can complete your rides, you simply cannot be injured...

Morris would be to much of a risk, as he not ridden competitively for 2 years.  I see no other suitable available rider. Only guest options were Rowe, Kerr, Zagar, Wright or Janowski. 1 was taken, 2 commute so unlikely to take a guest booking which leave Kerr and Wright and I think the Management at Leicester would hope that RR (which I think scored 6) would have outscored any guest. I can see Leicester doing the rest of the season with RR and the odd guest away from home if a UK based track specialist is available. They did win the league in 2019 with a similar strategy.

I doubt you will see any top boys in the uk next season
