Can't see Boughen scoring and Dan T will get more than some are predicting.  Going for 55-35.

No he didn’t ride cause he believes it should be over a few rounds like most national championships instead of a one off on a track he knows he’s not going to win on.    Very similar reasons as to why Ritchie Worrall never bothered a few years back. 

Just been reading Lawrence Rodgers Bulls piece on the Birmingham website. Could Edinburgh not just remove Max from their team and use other conference league riders in the meantime? This would have saved Max from getting a 28 day ban but would have possibly stopped Edinburgh from using guests from other teams. Obviously Edinburgh stronger with guests from other teams so Max is banned from racing for the Bulls (not just Berwick doing what's best for their team).

How can they? How many female riders are there actually in this country?

I think its more a confidence think at the moment. If he makes the start and gets out front he looks unstoppable, if he doesn't he'll shut off or over ride causing him to fall. Having a good meeting or two should hopefully help him but unlike Borke I think Boughen needs race time to solve his issues.

I don’t think a period of rest, like Borke at Berwick, would be a bad thing for Boughen. I think it’s fairly obvious he’s struggling. Other than heat one at Armadale and heat eight at home to Edinburgh, he’s looked uncomfortable on the bike. Engine issues can be fixed, but you can’t ride through a hip injury.
