Today its just a gater's track. It's exactly the type of track Gerry Facenna said is killing speedway. Just set it up for the home team to win rather than proper racing. -

Heat nine and we witness the first pass beyond the first lap. Is this sort of issue even a topic of discussion with British speedway’s powers that be, or are they fully focused on merely surviving? We’re getting battered here, so I’m conscious this may come across bitter, but you can’t hide from reality. Stene Pijper, God love him, should not be in this meeting. He’s nowhere near it. -
