Guys, Track Prat is nothing more than a moronic brainless troll with nothing intelligent to say. Lets just all hit the report button and get rid of this excuse of a person. His posts on here prove he is clearly a troll.6 points

I am relay sick of Championship teams using foreign riders at reserve, for god sake how are we ever going to ever get more British riders coming through. There are enough riders in the National League to cover those positions. It worked in 2014 to a extent in the Elite league but should then have been tried in the second tier. Anyone got any opinions on this4 points

You have to wonder where a lot of riders keep their best Machinary these days. How riders are still trying to sort out bikes makes you doubt it's over here.3 points

good example to this is kyle bickley very good national league rider but look how hard hes finding it in the middle tier im sure most expected it to take time for kyle to start scoring but combination of things has made it hard for kyle 1 day he will click and start scoring and then in turn start improving just because theres plenty of riders in the lower league it dosnt mean they can fill a reserve berth in the league above successfully3 points

I`m sure there is a valid reason somewhere, but I am struggling to find one, giving the amount of help and support you and the rest of the supporters club have giving to both club and riders you would think it would be good PR at least to do presentations in-front of the fans in the stadium.3 points

Told you so...... Huge well done to the Berwick track staff and their magic covers...... never dreamed it would be on but it actually got dusty!3 points

Until recently the home promotion paid a percentage of the visiting riders points money the riders own team made up the difference, travelling expenses where usually shared when clubs had old fashioned tours and did the northern clubs on consecutive nights, problem was not all clubs where great at paying their dues on time if at all2 points

Sorry, long day! Proctor it should be. Although, does anyone else think the guest rule is flawed? Why are Peterborough only allowed to book a guest up to Ulrich's average of 7.41? The Panthers team declaration is at 40.51, surely we should be able to book a guest up to 9.40?2 points

i know a good few years back that the home promotion paid all travel for both sets of riders and that the away team were on fixed points money and that the away promotion actually made up the difference in points money for their team members .. its not a bit of wonder that clubs are having a hard time paying riders as they only have 1/2 the income from the home meetings for both home and away fixtures . YEP , speedway is in a proper mess these days . cant see the sport lasting another ten years , if i am honest . that not just @ workington , but all over . .support it while its there . .2 points

It doesn't matter what you do or how good the product is you simply won't get the crowd on a Monday that you would on a Friday, Saturday or Sunday. People have a limited amount of money to spend on sport, entertainment or leisure activities and most of it is spent at the weekend. It's common sense that people are more likely to go out when they have no work or school for their children the next day.2 points

You have enough hot air to sort that out for yourself.....2 points

Years ago British riders tried to make their way into speed way via the second half reserve and rider of the night races, these have long gone now but it was interesting spotting future talent. Nowadays we don't even give them a chance at no 8 when rider replacement is used.2 points

Good win last night for the KLS Bandits Academy. Last night's junior meeting was sponsored by the Berwick Bandits Supporters Club.2 points

I've still got all my Speedway Stars going back to 1960! But, I feel I have better things to do with my time than trawl through nearly 60 years worth just to catch Philip out!!!! Maybe writing another speedway book on "Good Tactics in the Speedway of Nations tournament".2 points

Amazing innit? Three totally different reasons. NL has probably saved itself from a bore/dust fest though. Good opportunity to do some work on the track?2 points

Surely now the time has come for the SCB to take action over the ongoing safety problems at Stoke. In the last 3 meetings, 3 riders have ended up in hospital. Last week James Chattin ended up in critical care with broken ribs, a collapsed lung and a damaged spleen (Thankfully now on the way to recovery). Tonight heat 1 took 4 attempts to run, and ended with just 1 finisher and one faller pushing over the line for 2nd place. The match was abandoned when 3 riders all fell on the second bend of heat 11. In between there were 13 fallers in 10 heats, and 3 riders withdrawn from the meeting with various injuries. Spectators were again covered in ridiculous clouds of dust from the first bend. It was also the fourth meeting of the season to have a second half MDL meeting planned....and the MDL riders are yet to race a meeting. Every single one postponed/abandoned by some sort of Stoke induced calamity. All this on a dry, fine night. Things have now gone beyond a joke. Riders and fans have long been inconvenienced by the dust, poor track, generator failures, air-fence deflations, electric failures, etc etc... but when rider safety is being so badly compromised with riders ending up in hospital on a regular basis, and multiple riders withdrawing injured every meeting, surely it's time for action.2 points

Think we can safely ignore the "reserved" date Geoff as everyone knows it's only there to avoid another blank space on the fixture list, giving false hope that one!!1 point

When was he out of control? Having watched him regularly he has great control, he gives 100% every time just awful out of the gate. Could be a great rider if he learns to gate1 point

We stayed for the juniors but I didn’t mark my programme. I don’t like to single one out but there is one really wee guy who is heading for stardom - winning races AND playing to the supporters ..... big tick ..... keep it up!!!1 point

I am sure you are doing your best. We all have our own particular preferences re music and, personally, I try to shut it out if I don't like it (provided it is not played too loud). The roving microphone is having intermittent problems this year and, hopefully, these will be sorted out soon. I, for one, appreciate it is not easy to have to fill long unplanned for periods of time. On a different front, good to hear Kyle has not broken anything and his time out will not be too long.1 point

Many moons ago, Milton Keynes got kicked out of the league for similar scenarios like stoke are serving up on a weekly basis.1 point

Not the best of meetings mostly down to the conditions, but at least they got it on well done to all concerned. A good and much needed win after the previous two nights with everyone apart from Spud picking up a heat win , good choice of guest in Matty Weathers . Erik Riss looked very impressive, but Wells apart he lacked support . Couple of weeks off now for the guys to recover from the bumps and bruises and engine problems of the last few days , the K.O cup tie should be very interesting .1 point

Seems like the only person Phil has criticized in the sport is Charlie Webster and the NZ promoter. And it was funny that he only criticized him once he pulled out of promoting a GP!!!!Before that,he was a great bloke lol1 point

It's too much of an incestuous world where those earning well from the sport ( and I don't mean riders ) either don't want to or won't ask any tough questions. A case of don't bite the hand that feeds you perhaps?1 point

I think you only have to look at Tai and Lambert to see how to play your improving career, don’t put the UK first. And who can blame them? the BSPA should be doing everything possible to look after all their star Brits and ensure they make it easier NOT harder to ride here. for instance, why wouldn’t they seed Tai or Cook (as GP riders) direct to the British final. Haven’t they earned that right???1 point

A record 150,00 people attended Coventry Motofest over the weekend of June 2nd/3rd. The organisers provided an excellent position for the SCS&S campaign group stand and we were exposed to thousands of visitors that we would not normally expect to see. We had so many positive conversations with people and everyone we spoke to wanted to see motorsports back at Brandon ASAP! http://savecoventryspeedway.com/news.php?extend.1581 point

The execution of this decision added to which you have fewer meetings in the Championship meaning that no team/rider can get some momentum going and probably a further reduction in fans going to mid week meetings probably will result in disaster for some clubs who may not come to the tapes in 2019 and others with a bloody nose financially speaking. Racing does not match the quality seen in individual events such as the British Final yet most supporters are fickle and only want league racing which is and will never be what it was many years back. Bikes have changed, with few exceptions riders can’t team ride and the double up is a joke and with no hope of the top stars ever returning to British racing you have a sport in its twilight years. It is going nowhere and those in charge have dug such a huge hole from themselves it is unlikely they can get out of the mire that they have created. The current fixed race nights are a disaster for the sport and would only work if the fixed days revolved around weekends and for that to happen and possibly see clubs survive, the sport at domestic level has to forget the other nations and start to rebuild for the future. The chances of that happening are nil.1 point

I think the better way would have been that in the event of a 3-3, the top scoring side are the winners. Not just because GB were top scorers, but to make more value of those 40-odd races beforehand. So the second top scoring side would need a 4-2 to win. Talking of that final, I was disappointed at the end, and commented on here that we might have won if Tai had slowed the race, but when you see Tai's comments, they make sense. Basically, we went into that race with a winning mentality - to go and win the heat and, thus, go in and attack the race. Race positively. I can see the validity in that, even though it never worked (mainly because the Russians had a very strong pair and it was unlikely either of them would finish last). In the end, Robert Lambert was very close to passing Emil at the end of the race, but never, so the tactic never worked. But they went into the race with the mindset to go out and take the race, and the main reason they never was because Russia were on a 5-1 on the first lap so GB became every man for himself.1 point

But Greg is Mr Nice Guy? Back in Sudden Sam's heyday Gino would have been riding a Blomfeldt tuned rocket ship before you knew it and Sam sitting behind him and nursing him home1 point

Maybe they arranged it on this date as other dates probably clashed with more of our riders being in Denmark or elsewhere. It just shows people want to moan about anything. Many people have been moaning about our riders missing now they have possibly avoided one of these clashes they want to moan about something else. Some fans very fickle. Well if i had a choice, and i love my football i would go to the speedway and record the football. But again on this occasion i haven't a choice because i have to be at bloody work again.1 point
