Wouldnt say its ridiculous at all Lawson went well at Poole earlier this season scoring 11 + 2 from 5 rides.....if he scores that again he will have done his job replacing Brady. The only issue i can see is that he has confidence riding for a top of the table side and dropping down to ride for an average side could affect him7 points

Very very talented but His name has obviously opened a few doors or does every track let teenagers onto the track who wish to learn and become a photographer. The photographers at Edinburgh and Glasgow and other tracks have served our sport well for years for NO financial gain and they have won awards in the past. This scenario should have never made its way onto a public forum. Father Lanning has used his profile to put his side of this sorry tale over and decent guys throughout the UK have not the same platform to respond. Sort it out behind closed doors.6 points

The collection for Tom Brennan came to over £1700. Well done eagles fans and it shows how much we care about him.6 points

So Brady is riding today unless my eyes deceive me for Leszno. Completely unacceptable and he should be sacked if he doesn’t line up for Poole tomorrow.5 points

Tigers are to be congratulated on their initiative in recruiting a potentially hot prospect, in Connor Bailey, on a 2pt GSA. I'm sure any other clubs fans, including my own, would have been excited at such a move. Such a similar move was done by the Tigers a few years back when they brought in Nick Morris, and look how well that turned out to be.4 points

surely if he rides in Poland then he will banned in this country lets wait and see4 points

Yeah he was at another Redcar meeting with Dave Payne as well. It's no secret that the way speedway had been run in recent seasons compounded by how Workington were treated last season had never seen him so disillusioned with the sport . The magnificent treble was just reward for an unsung hero who gave up so much of his own time for his love of the Comets.4 points

Everyone on here knows how much I have criticised our away performances in past years but come on? We had no chance at Eastbourne and even less so when our most experienced rider had to be replaced by 2 riders who had never seen the track before and 2 u18 2 point reserves. I’ve been to every away meeting up until tonight and can safely say we have been much improved, only problem has been Gappmaier but he done respectably at Glasgow and very well at Sheffield when some of our other riders struggled. We have won at Newcastle and scored 44 at Sheffield and Edinburgh in our first 4 away meetings, that’s better than any start to a season for at least 10/15 years.3 points

No, of course I hadn't forgotten Just feel the best of British Speedway should be raced on spectator-friendly nights, ie Friday and Saturday Monday nights continue to appear so very spectator-unfriendly Good to see the programme for Bank Holiday Monday, but that's standard fare Obviously those that know best consider it better for clubs to be forced to move away from their normal nights No wonder attendances continue to fall3 points

Speedway is a very small pond. Making enemies at such a young age may not be the best route. I wonder if this has backfired and should have been kept private3 points

I appreciate 5.30pm isn't going to suit everyone, but some of the comments on other social media are downright ridiculous. Saying that it's too late for people who travel long distance to get home and get kids ready for school etc. So how did they manage it after a 7.30pm (which actually only moved a few seasons ago from 7.45, may I add) start on a Thursday night, then??? As I said, I realise it won't suit everyone, and I'm sorry for those who miss out, but at least provide a sensible argument.3 points

It’s great to look through sporting history, and in particular, the trophies that are played for. There is the The Super Bowl, Rose Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Orange Bowl and tomorrow, The Dust Bowl. I see tomorrow’s meeting is being sponsored by Thames Water. Music provided by K-Tel includes River Deep, Mountain High, Oh I Do Like To Be Beside The Seaside and Cry Me A River. Oasis will also be doing a 10 minute slot after heat 11. Unfortunately, with no Brady and the unbelievable thought that Poole speedway has less water than the Sahara, the thought of drowning in shale dust for the princely sum of £18 means I am unlikely to travel to Four Point Road.2 points

This has become more open to a wider audience since green light go created his profile just to highlight the situation. You have to wonder who has something to gain out of a this becoming public, who made it public and if they regret doing so now that more details are coming out ? Seeing now that he’s been credited with some work that wasn’t his AMOW isn’t bullying, it’s claiming what’s rightfully yours2 points

The 6 and 7 often replace riders in the 1 to 5 eg Drabik at Wroclaw( within the max ride limit) They do both have to have their programmed rides unless the team is 6 down and then one reserve can replace the other reserve(just once i think)1 point

Current green sheets are valid until 31st May, with a revised issue due effective 1st June. It appears Kevin may go up to third in the averages from 1st June.1 point

The distance between the two clubs....surely North South leagues, at least for the start of the season should be considered. Following forum and updates but MISSING it.1 point

Is something thats happening more and more in speedway these days, and in the last few seasons especially to Berwick where there is virtually no tours as was the case a few years ago which would encourage travelling support. As you say there are very few who could go all the way to Eastbourne for a one off.1 point

Ivan was known to deliberately give the Exeter steel fence a clout exiting the bends, sometimes bending his silencer, or when going into them for added speed. Vaclav Verner did the same at Hull, a loud 'thud' denoting his successful exit from the bend, accompanied by a cloud of shale thrown into the air....1 point

Danny King was ruled out under the 8-day rule. With 4 and 5 in the averages missing the facility is one Guest, one RR, and as only Ipswich are not riding the choice was somewhat limited.1 point

I'm only kidding about WADA. Then again I am a bad loser so I'd still do it. He was so good though especially in his 5th race. Hope he gives Lublin that extra fire power they lack and they can avoid relegation1 point

I cannot comment about this meeting as I was not there, but, it has been much less of a gaters track this season due to the work Stewart Diskson has done on the track.1 point

Kerr is very second hand after his spill at Eastbourne but no broken bones,so maybe fit, maybe not.Riss obviously out,and Proctor maybe too. Can't make this one unfortunately,at work until 17:45.Unless the start can be delayed for an 1.5 hrs to let the crowds in then i can1 point

I decided to make the trip after work but regretted it from mid meeting on wards. We were woeful, only James Shanes are Ashley Morris could say they had a good meeting but it was comprehensive win for Leicester. All season we cant seem to gate and when your at a gaters track like Leicester then there's only gonna be one outcome regardless of how good the side your facing is. That's two poor meetings for Ostergaard in less than a week. He just isn't performing as what we hoped when we signed him. Hes only hit double figures on one occasion and whilst he wasn't a number 1 you would think riding at number 5 would ease the pressure. Leicester have a great top end but Ulrich was beaten from the tapes. He needs to improve in the coming meetings, maybe if no replacement is available we can re jig the riding order. Leicester are one of the best teams in the league, first time i've seen Ryan Douglas ride and what a cracking rider he is. With him, Nicholls and Worrall that's three number 1's certainly on form. I've always admired Connor Mountain in the NL and hes a great young rider, whenever I see him hes having good meetings. It doesn't matter who Ellis Perks is riding for, at whatever track, he always fills his boots when he rides against us. Hopefully Josh Bates is okay after his fall backwards off the bike. Only crumb of comfort I can take from last night is we shouldn't be the last team to be well beaten at Leicester this season.1 point

Maybe their is a long term plan and its to increase its social media profile to a high enough number to possibly then start to stream matches to an army of 'armchair followers'... 50,000 'followers' might be enough to get 10% or so watching on a PPV stream on any given night... The nights they often run on are simply not 'customer friendly' for something that is seen as 'entertainment' and 'family focused' (and they must know this as its so obvious), therefore there has to be another reason surely why they keep running such a poor non customer focused fixture list.. Could it be with a view to future growth being delivered from TV subscriptions? Or.... Maybe I am giving them too much credit, and they haven't got any plan at all... And simply the fixture list is put together at the behest of the riders to suit their earning potential and individual aspirations, and no thoughts are put forward at all at any stage of the planning as to whether the fans can turn up or not....1 point

The bottom line is that List only beat one opponent for Scunthorpe and they were off 15m.....sometimes needs must for the good of the team and Ayres has done very well. Good that List will be getting his place back but he was dropped because he wasn’t up to the required standard. Hope for his sake he is able to take his chance this time.1 point
