Wouldnt say its ridiculous at all Lawson went well at Poole earlier this season scoring 11 + 2 from 5 rides.....if he scores that again he will have done his job replacing Brady. The only issue i can see is that he has confidence riding for a top of the table side and dropping down to ride for an average side could affect him

Very very talented but His name has obviously opened a few doors or does every track let teenagers onto the track who wish to learn and become a photographer. The photographers at Edinburgh and Glasgow and other tracks have served our sport well for years for NO financial gain and they have won awards in the past. This scenario should have never made its way onto a public forum. Father Lanning has used his profile to put his side of this sorry tale over and decent guys throughout the UK have not the same platform to respond. Sort it out behind closed doors.

Tigers are to be congratulated on their initiative in recruiting a potentially hot prospect, in Connor Bailey, on a 2pt GSA. I'm sure any other clubs fans, including my own, would have been excited at such a move. Such a similar move was done by the Tigers a few years back when they brought in Nick Morris, and look how well that turned out to be.

Yeah he was at another Redcar meeting with Dave Payne as well. It's no secret that the way speedway had been run in recent seasons compounded by how Workington were treated last season had never seen him so disillusioned with the sport . The magnificent treble was just reward for an unsung hero who gave up so much of his own time for his love of the Comets.

Everyone on here knows how much I have criticised our away performances in past years but come on? We had no chance at Eastbourne and even less so when our most experienced rider had to be replaced by 2 riders who had never seen the track before and 2 u18 2 point reserves. I’ve been to every away meeting up until tonight and can safely say we have been much improved, only problem has been Gappmaier but he done respectably at Glasgow and very well at Sheffield when some of our other riders struggled. We have won at Newcastle and scored 44 at Sheffield and Edinburgh in our first 4 away meetings, that’s better than any start to a season for at least 10/15 years.

No, of course I hadn't forgotten Just feel the best of British Speedway should be raced on spectator-friendly nights, ie Friday and Saturday Monday nights continue to appear so very spectator-unfriendly Good to see the programme for Bank Holiday Monday, but that's standard fare Obviously those that know best consider it better for clubs to be forced to move away from their normal nights No wonder attendances continue to fall

Speedway is a very small pond. Making enemies at such a young age may not be the best route. I wonder if this has backfired and should have been kept private

I appreciate 5.30pm isn't going to suit everyone, but some of the comments on other social media are downright ridiculous. Saying that it's too late for people who travel long distance to get home and get kids ready for school etc. So how did they manage it after a 7.30pm (which actually only moved a few seasons ago from 7.45, may I add) start on a Thursday night, then??? As I said, I realise it won't suit everyone, and I'm sorry for those who miss out, but at least provide a sensible argument.

Unfortunately, with no Brady and the unbelievable thought that Poole speedway has less water than the Sahara, the thought of drowning in shale dust for the princely sum of £18 means I am unlikely to travel to Four Point Road.

In Polish speedway there are no "reserves". Instead at nr. 6 & 7 there are riders U-21...and Kubera + Smektala fit that bill.

These are often the sort of gambles clubs need to take to make the difference. He could be a gem.

Can somebody help me out on this regarding Brady Kurtz. On Friday it was awaiting outcome of X.Rays. Suddenly he is jetting off to POL. Today on the Poole website Ford Jr states and I quote Pirates co-promoter Danny Ford said: “Obviously it’s far from ideal being without Brady as he’s been in such incredible form this season so far. “But the important thing is he rests up and gets back to full fitness. Incredible that in POL the main main Sports Fakty sppedway site quoted the flwg at 14.48 Uk time yesterday one day earlier than Fords release with and again I quote An arm injury was suspected by an Antipodian rider. However, the latest information is positive and it is very likely that his crash ended only on bruises, so Kurtz will be able to appear in the Sunday game Fogo Unia Leszno So today and in last 2 hours he is photographed chilling out at the track with the other Foga Unio riders, also looks like he did the track walk with his team PLUS is declared to ride in the seven named riders and no comments from the live comments board contributors to say he isn't riding. Teams doing the presentation and for good measure approx 15,500 is the attendance. One can see where loyalties lie I thing. Also Jack Holder rode a little earlier and is riding tomorrow in UK. A decent 12 plus 2 BP frpom 6 rides today where older Holder failed yet again away (like the team did) with 5 plus 1 from 4 rides. If you can't beat Lublin a promoted team who also had Jonsson missing then they are looking like relegation certainties already so early in the season having lost every match. Chances are Brady would not have got back in time for a early morning meeting with the POL EXL match he is riding in only starting at 6 p.m UK time where Jack rode some hours earlier. But my point is why do we get fed such B.S from the Promotion and the Club about him being banged up - not fit to ride , needing to rest up, when those who keep close tabs on the real racing in POL can see it is in effect b.s. P.S: Brady is out with Emil S in heat one.

Is something thats happening more and more in speedway these days, and in the last few seasons especially to Berwick where there is virtually no tours as was the case a few years ago which would encourage travelling support. As you say there are very few who could go all the way to Eastbourne for a one off.

We did try to organise a bus to come down last night. But with Hotel and Bus Fare it was going to be expensive for a one off. Sadly with lack of fixtures we could not really make it a mini tour. Eastbourne are in a better situation than we were, as when you come to Berwick your at Edinburgh Friday & Newcastle Sunday. I was looking to come down, as last time I was there was 1977 Cup Final which we narrowly lost .

I cannot comment about this meeting as I was not there, but, it has been much less of a gaters track this season due to the work Stewart Diskson has done on the track.

I thinknthose who know best , do realise that the weekend is the best time , but we have played into the hands of Poland as has the rest fo world speedway including the GP's with people meeting the demands of Poland instead of qualifying . It's all too late , Poland will be the death of speedway IMHO ,

Keith Denham made changes to bends 2 and 4 when he took over, this reduced the incident rate markedly especially with regard to bend 2.

Depends what you mean by an “average fan”. I guess the vast majority of Bandits fans that attend home meetings are only interested in what happens between 7 & 9 on a Saturday evening.
