Hopefully all the P’Boro riders make it to Owlerton on time. Those queues at the post office on a Thursday can be quite long5 points

Understand sometimes it can’t be avoided but speedway constantly disappoints doesn’t it.4 points

Before you berate Redcar again due to a lack of information, I think it’s time we make some facts clear. Jordan Stewart applied for his visa in December 2020. It’s taken UKVI almost 6 months to process his visa, entirely due to Covid 19 and not because of any lack of urgency by rider or promotion. His visa arrived for Redcar last Saturday! As clubs that pride ourselves on a professional approach, both Redcar and Ipswich have done everything as early as we possibly could, but have been in the hands of the people and organisations that process these applications. Covid has caused an endless number of problems for all of us, visas being one of them. I hope that clear things up. Regards, Jitendra Duffill3 points

Speedway still in the dark ages. Whole market out there willing to pay a tenner for a stream. £10,000 going begging. Denmark stream for free. About time the sport realised there’s lots of money to be made by streaming services and came into the 21st century.3 points

Currently at the track Where's it's very light drizzle. Going to be like this for the next hour. It's thst fine it will do the track more good than harm3 points

Yes, and quite rightly too... As it's their job, and their job alone, to make the sport look bad...3 points

It's blocks of 6 what they want to fill as a 6 if possible but if a pair wanted a slot they could use a six block and still just pay for 2... if that makes sense... Newcastle did have limited numbers of 2 slots and 4 slots anyway and it's all down to social distancing... It looks like Poole can have 30% of the max capacity of the stadium and I don't know what that equates to so say 900 fans if the place holds 3000... therefore that's 150 plots with 6 people in spaces 2 metres apart... So... and not having been to Poole Stadium I don't know... could you fit 150 blocks in the stadium that will allow for the recommended space of 2 metres social distancing... Will they get 900 or whatever fans coming to the meeting because let's be fair these promoters aren't daft and want as many people in they can get and they certainly won't be charging one person the price of 6 to get in the stadium ffs if they cant fill all the blocks... Why does everything have to be taken to the ridiculous end of the spectrum... give the Promotion a little credit they want as many in as possible but at the same time the have to ensure everyone's safety... and no doubt they will... Why turn a drama into a crisis... email the club tell them your predicament and I am sure you will be accommodated... As you rightly say Mike there is always the opportunity to "bubble up" with other Poole fans to make a 6... become a Speedway Bubble... Regards THJ3 points

To be fair, your first post on this specifically blames the Redcar promotion..2 points

Justice for fact they were on a 5-1 having both blatantly jumping the start - not a single race brought back to the tapes tonight, several races Belle Vue got away with movement and guessing the start tonight! decent opening meeting, lots to improve on from an ipswich perspective, looked like a team that’s now built 2 points under the limit sadly, crump will get sharper I’m sure and kemp will pick up no doubt looked nervous tonight my biggest concern is we’ve got a 3rd heat leader now riding at 5 and we’ve got a second string riding at 3 - I’m a fan of both king and Heeps, both good riders but with the loss of klindt they’re now riding in positions above their level and are going to consistently come up against better opposing numbers home and away2 points

Did not Ipswich win the league with a six person team? Nobody complained then2 points

We've been lucky at Ipswich with our own Kim jansson and also Marius puzakowski (sp) , who both loved playing to the crowds, but AZ bruv said our guys do come round regularly2 points

Speedway Star reports Scott Nicholls will guest for Riss (about equal) but getting Broc Nicol in place of Grobauer is akin to daylight robbery!2 points

I thought this was quite helpful - if you're friendly with Mr Preece but can't stand Mr Jones (no offence, example only) you'd tailor your booking accordingly. The tone of your initial message led me to think that address, card number and CVV details were on view.2 points

The thing that surprises me here is that people actually seemed to be surprised by rule fiddling, cheating and general bunkum authorised by the BSPL. They have, after all, been doing it season after season for decades so we should be entirely used to it. 'Bring on the youth'. By my rough calculation, around one third of those named in NDL teams would not qualify to take part in the league under the conditions indicated in Speedy Star by Jason Pipe.2 points

He's on a hiding to nothing calls it off early, some fans moan, call it off late some fans moan. Meeting abandoned after a few heats and loads of track work, some fans moan. Personally I think its better to make the call earlier and save everyone time and money.2 points

Not that it really matters, but I can see 4 wearing masks in that photo. One a couple rows back and to the right of the guy in red you circled, then another guy a row further back and to the right of the guy I just mentioned. re councils having a say. Remember the tiers the government introduced last year, councils complained that they should have a say as they are closer to the ground and knew more about circumstances. I would think that’s where council involvement stems from.1 point

yes the dip is away and the track is the best it has ever looked and very smooth the tv team were in yesterday doing sound checks with a rider doing a few laps ,the track will make for good racing with no real home track advantage but pretty sure the tigers should win it by a few1 point

thank you Neil .... other than the name there are no other details showing !! How many Mr Jones , Mr Preece are there etc and their information is protected , Only Try Booking and Birmingham Speedway have access to any sensitive data and as holders of an ICO data protection licence are bound by this . If someone doesn't want to book like the person above then they will not get in to watch their speedway .... that is their choice if they actually come to speedway or not .1 point

You're right with the injury, never sounds that severe but can be a lengthy process to put right/heal. I don't know Henry's previous injury history but unfortunately if it's a recurrence of an earlier injury, I know from my involvement with motocross that an operation is normally the only solution, riding heavily strapped is never a great fix. Fingers crossed for Plymouth and Easie it's just a one off.1 point

I remember that... I think though that it is now banned as part of the Covid regulations.. Boris got wind of it and issued strict instructions to the local council that KL must never use it whilst the pandemic is on.. The last thing you need is 1300 KL fans shouting at the top of their voices and jumping up and down to this magnificent 'war cry' potentially spreading the virus.. In fact, it was so good, even the away fans will start joining in..... I saw the footage because my then 16 year old lad came flying down the stairs with his phone in his hand saying "You've got to see this!".. At then end of it, he just said laughing.. "And WE go to Speedway"....1 point

that is a council / stadium ruling ... several other tracks have the same restriction at the moment but hopefully that will be relaxed soon. Eastbourne have had to add this to their T+C's this week after their council imposed the ruling .1 point

I do like Woodhull but it seems a bizarre choice. Colts have Compton as their elder statesman and JPB & Coles who can hold their own easily. I’d have thought Woodhull would be best concentrating on his own improvements rather than giving him the responsibility of sorting out his senior riders.1 point

Which is probably why Birmingham tried to put the match back (like the Edinburgh and Newcastle ones) but Berwick refused.1 point

i'll wait until they accept cash at the door. I had a look at that ticketing web site, and if they are splashing people's names and booking information on their web site, then that's a GDPR nightmare waiting to explode. I'm not trusting my credit card details to a web site with such a cavalier attitude to personal data protection.1 point

Always liked when Zorro got Matty Ferjan to do the dance with him.....And who can forget Adam Skornicki doing a donut around a dancing Zorro in 2008...Crowd loved it1 point

Watches one match and is now an expert on the Belle Vue track. It’s nothing like any other UK track , which, if you had bothered to watch any other matches from there, you would have known . But at least now you won’t bother watching any more matches so you won’t be giving us another deep insight into track layouts.1 point

The behind closed doors is temporary, hopefully. By waiting another month or whenever the next batch of restrictions are finally lifted they wont need to spend unnecessary amounts of money on Covid mitigations in the stadium. Setting up the streaming service is a gamble but hopefully it pays off. I'm sure the owners are pretty tired of the restrictions like everyone else.1 point

I thought the coverage last night was great! The Pearson and Tatum combination works well for me, good banter and so what if there is the odd mistake! Scott Nicholls is so at ease and professional at his job, whilst Abi is no Natalie Quirk give her a bit of time to settle into the role. Good to see the housewives favourite David Rowe updating from Kings Lynn as well. Overall, a very encouraging start to Eurosport's coverage - I hope they got decent viewing figures.1 point

The excitement had been quashed by having no fans in the stadium for an undetermined time. There is no substitute for visiting the track, and whilst streaming is appreciated as it gets us going again, its a distant second choice.1 point

I have a list of riders experienced in NL racing who could step in to hole created by the loss of Jamie Halder so please don't say there is no replacement available, Martin Widman1 point
