To be fair Rob Grant said there would be changes for the Leicester match & he isn’t lying . The change is Kyle Howarth is not guesting at no 1 he is going to ride against Newcastle instead5 points

I have some sympathy for your point of view. However, as with many aspects of modern life, for me, it comes down to my own sense of responsibility. If I take my grandson to a restaurant, I make sure he behaves appropriately. He doesn't run riot or badly affect other diners. Likewise, if Lenny comes to the speedway with me, I expect him to behave appropriately. I go where I know there's space for him to settle and he doesn't cause disruption to other fans. In fact, generally speaking, it's others that insist on "bothering him" by stroking him and asking about his history etc. Not that he doesn't like the fuss, he loves it. But it's horses for courses and it is always my responsibility to make sure our visits are trouble free. I don't take Lenny because I think it's my right to do so, I take him because I don't like leaving him at home for many hours alone. I think that's a responsible attitude also. So it's give and take. No one has a right to behave badly or to take a dog into an environment just because it's allowed and then cause a problem. You do see signs saying that well behaved dogs are welcome. Perhaps the signs should say, well behaved dogs and well behaved dog owners are welcome!4 points

Did you watch the same meeting as the rest of us? some decent racing most of the races had something happening.Zagar superb Kurtz decent and King showing improved form Doyle on it also thought Hume rode very well for a measly 2 point return.4 points

I can see the headline in the chronicle now ( that’s if they still print about speedway) Diamonds sign son of 3 x British Champion3 points

There were not many ways that Newcastle could make a poor team change, but what do you know they've actually managed it.3 points

No need for Greyhound racing to have spectators, they make there money from streaming to the shops and online, so no need for a nice plush stand and staff on minimum wages selling expensive warm beer and over priced fast food.2 points

It never ceases to amaze me that people still respond to the idiot, but as you say he baited his hook and got a few bites, interestingly not from regular Panther fans, who rightly just ignore the idiot.2 points

Some good words from Steve Lawson, "give the riders a decent track to race on and they will entertain, whether they are world champions or juniors." Also" ideally not round a football or rugby pitch and no stock cars"2 points

Well that's down to the waiter, not the dog. There is more chance of catching something from the humans at the next table, than from a dog. If we knew what went on behind some kitchen doors, i suspect many of us would never eat out again...2 points

I for one can’t - i must fill a programme out and then within a few minutes of heat 20 finishing i have to work out GP points for the bottom 8 riders and also Semi final line- ups in draw order. I freeze The live coverage and always beat the semi draw. I then do the top 8 points as soon as the final is over - all this with paper, pen and brain !!!! I then normally post how wrong the TV captions are !!!!2 points

What if the dog isn't at all bothered by the 'noisy environment'? I always took a dog with me when going alone to Oxford, Wolverhampton, Peterborough, Coventry or Leicester. None of them have ever shown the slightest concern about noisy motorbikes, in fact quite the opposite as they just went to sleep on a blanket while the match was on. Border Collies too that are supposed to be lively.2 points

Ah but. The real significance of tonight's result is that everyone now knows that Poole can be beaten over two legs. Fortress Wimborne Road is no more.1 point

Brummies are being killed at reserve, I know the kid pearson is only 16 but looks out of his depth and lacking in confidence, ultimately his lack of points is costing the Brummies, glad Stefan Nielsen is finding his form, team changes must happen if we are to avoid the wooden spoon, i know people will say im being harsh on the young lad pearson, but its a results business, back in 2010 we had Jake Anderson who was hardly scoring a point but the other 6 lads were scoring for fun to cover it, this brummies team dont have Jason Lyons, Sweetman and Johnno and Aaron Summers to score at least 40 points per meeting between them to help the poor kid out1 point

The track is much better since Buster took a bit of the grip away. You don't know what ya missing1 point

should have plenty of time to sort things out as the meeting will be held on the 12th of June 20231 point

That's a fair wager although a no lose for me as it is currently very unlikely that I will visit Compost Corner again If it doesn't go to plan I will just claim that BassoRacingFan hacked my account1 point

Presumably as Edinburgh was a Saturday this being a Sunday fulfils the 8 day rule? Think needs looked at and should perhaps just be successive meetings at a track imo1 point

I was going to reply to this news but waited for confirmation which is now out on the Scorpion website. Alcock had been mentioned earlier before the KO meeting but it was a mis-communication error & was a guest only.1 point

If last night had been 1 lap races ... would much have changed result wise? Wright "block passed" Hume in 1 heat and Barker would have finished more races....1 point

The bit in bold make it sound like you are questioning BV as a racetrack based on last night alone, if I've misunderstood you then fair enough. Last night was a half decent watch without hitting the heights that the NSS has on many previous occasions, I think the missing riders contributed to that and R/R is always a nuisance. There is no if, BV is by far the best track i the country and very rarely is the inside line the quickest, usually there are multiple fast lines.1 point

Boring meeting only kept interesting by the close score line . If that's the best track in the country.. Ipswich must be 2nd. Another track where going the shortest way round wins the race.1 point

Do people hate Glasgow? I dislike them from a rivalry perspective which I think is to be expected. I’d support Glasgow over Poole any day of the week though.1 point

Not a track we've been successful on. Too bit of a skelping last season if memory serves. Another I'd take happily walk away with a point from. Especially given last weekends debacle1 point

Always a few dogs at Peterborough. There's plenty of space over the back straight to walk them. Seen dogs at Ippo as well last week1 point

Everyone who has subscribed has been emailed/contacted this morning (or will be) not only with the official apology but also a breakdown of the various recompense to their different subscription passes. Big investment in new equipment also underway. As a season pass subscriber I am more than happy with their explanations.1 point
