I’m assuming a trackside drug test gives only a positive or negative result. Then a urine or blood test will determine what the substance is. he has been taking painkillers for his injured shoulder. So if that’s on the ok list he is free to carry on. if it’s a painkiller not on the allowed list I’d imagine it’s a short ban or fine however if it’s a recreational drug he is in deep trouble. But we need to remember he is innocent until proven otherwise.

Why do supporters of any club go to a track that their team isn't racing at? Maybe something to do with enjoying speedway.

The Poles win in Poland by using oversized engines etc, bikes being wheeled out of the pits and replaced with compliant engines towards the end of meetings. It's well known amongst the Team GB mechanics but nothing is done about it.

There was a lot to be said for the old 2nd halves not least when a reserve spot in the team could be gained. I've suggested often enough that the old 'rider of the night' should be introduced but with points accumulated over the season with a major prize such as a new bike up for grabs. Make it interesting by awarding bonus points for performances at away tracks or when guesting.

This is a new concept 2 semi’s and the new U21 Son plus the final all in one place- think they don’t want overkill of 2 senior finals and who can blame them !!!

While it’s a given that advantages are sort by all riders of all nations, over sized engines especially in Poland isn’t one of them and especially at FIM level, another reason is a tuner like kowalski or gravesen ain’t going to risk his business by cheating in a school boy way and then even if they were stupid enough to do that and over sized engine doesn’t automatically mean a faster bike in speedway

One amalgamated League is the only way forward, may be 6 riders per team ...... riders will have to take it or leave it..... Or a North/South set up.....

Having worked with UKAD in other sports testing on blood and urine can give accurate results to how long banned substances have been in the system. Let's face it only a complete idiot would take anything on a day they were competing not realising or knowing tests reveal what is already there. Wether speedway authorities wish to act on retrospective info would be another matter. When it comes to doping I do have hard opinions especially when it comes to motorsports. Cheating in say athletics is bad enough but when your judgement is impared and other participants lives are at risk to me that should be a lifetime ban.

Agree ,Janowski is struggling a bit this season.Kubera is having a great season.While the Poles take their Team Speedway seriously dont think they will be losing too much sleep over the SON.It was designed to stop them winning the World Team Cup every Year.

Levishyn (and Salonen) are already in the Polish system so I doubt if you could persuade them to take what would be regarded as a step down in their career progress and come to the UK (although Jonas Knudsen who is at a similar level and age has). And how long would it take to get a visa for someone who already has full time employment (and probably a history of residence) in Poland?

Does Lahti and Salonen fit? That could mean a great Finnish to the season
