  1. I'm in two minds about a scenario like Glasgow had today, I want to see a totally fair meeting with racers being able to give 100%, if they couldn't then I'd rather go again ......

  2. Poole want to ride, glasgow want it off. Homer ref backs home side. Poole riders and management very angry. Lawson totally pi55ed.

  3. Not just promoters. I used to think Jason garrity was a myth until I saw him on the telly!!

  4. In addition you can't have a two legged tie where one team has more heats at home than the other.....for me meetings have to go the distance over two legs, same principle as removing tac subs in such matches.

  5. When it suits Poole you mean… 100% guarantee that if it was Ht10 and Poole were only down a couple of points you all would be on here telling us it was unsafe and the right decision

  6. The real annoyance was . You couldn't see out the hospitality cabin windows because of the rain ,so I braved the elements and went outside to wipe them . Then they called the meeting off

  7. I'm in the hospitality cabin and got all this beer to drink and no racing to watch , scandalous

  8. Planes landing all day n night fine, 4 bikes for 90 minutes once a week no that's just too much. Good old council logic

  9. It was Wozniak going out of shape that started that whole thing. Fair call

  10. How zmarzlik goes into a corner that fast and tight and still manages to turn is amazing, such talent on a bike

  11. What an absolute joke this sport is! The rain was due, firstly why weren’t the all riders at the start at 6pm? That stinks to end the meeting that way. Starke went in far too hot and came off.

  12. BV definitely do not have any luck going into the playoffs. Someone always seems to pick up an injury. Best wishes to Max for a full recovery.

  13. Absolutely no truth in this at all. We at BSN work around the clubs and have zero influence on start times. Regards, Ben Duffill.

  14. The irony of Poole fans talking about how to prepare a track. Didn’t Wimborne Road double up as a golf course with the amount of holes that used to be in it?

  15. That would explain why he rarely scores any points. Rather than be taking photos of the track, He should be concentrating on trying to catch the riders in front of him, who appear to be well out of site in this photo.

  16. Personally think I would drown myself. Leave him to try and open the can of beans.

  17. Genuine question as I am not there or seen any BSN coverage .. 7 Poole riders and management want it to continue… 6 Glasgow riders and management want it off. So because Glasgow get the verdict it is a pathetic decision say the Poole fans… What if it was other way around and Glasgow wanted to continue and Poole wanted it off and it was called off .. Would Poole fans still be saying it was the wrong decision ?

  19. After heat 5 finished the two minutes should have been on right away , but no we faff about waiting on the rain to go off by which time the track is unraceable. Think we were terrified of only being maybe 4 ahead by heat 10

  20. Poole have it their own way for 20+ years and then spit their dummy out when it goes against them ONCE. Wow.

  21. Pro rata that at 1 point per heat advantage to Glasgow. Thay take a 15 point lead to Poole Fairest way no one can complain at that

  22. All of these are very painful injuries, especially the sternum. Poor Max, great guy..... best wishes from your Edinburgh fans Max, take care lad and don’t rush the healing process

  23. Until there is an official statement I’m still holding on to the smallest bit of hope.

  24. Let's not call a spade a gardening implement. Home team A wants to run 15 heats to theoretically build up as much of a lead as possible. Away team B wants as few heats ran to theoretically limit their deficit. You can put any and all teams in the league for A and B. Each and every one of them. Fact. It's not cheating it's professionalism. It's naive to call it anything else.

  25. Re Starke falling, that’s a bit like saying if it didn’t rain it wouldn’t have been abandoned, no?

  26. I was at the track and can confirm it was dusty right from the off. To be fair I've been at Ashfield when it's been dustier. I'm 100% convinced that if the meeting had been squeezed to Heat 10 then Poole would have wanted it called.

  27. They gave the track a light watering 1/2 hour before start,it was dry as bone after Ht1.It was not heavy rain but the track was that slick the riders wanted it roughed up on the inside line. The track looked good .But there was definitely “politics “ involved in the decision from “BOTH” teams.Fans made to suffer again, certainly not encouraging for any new fans to come back. PS There wasn’t any surface water on the track.

  28. Cami Brown’s interview “the track was rideable, not raceable…..” Paul Starke was on the outside line into bend 3 and the back wheel just gave way, no grip at all. Very convenient for Poole suggesting we keep racing after heat 5 and try to call it at heat 10 if the rain continues, that way Glasgow lose 5 heats of home advantage. The rain had started again not long after, there was no chance of getting to heat 10, especially after Worrall couldn’t sit still at the tapes, then couldn’t sit on his bike and then destroyed the tapes, I’m sure we could have had a few extra races if he hadn’t thrown his toys out the pram!

  29. Who knows but I still can’t understand why they just couldn’t have brought it forward a couple of hours. We always hate rain offs but part and parcel I’m afraid.

  31. Anyway , bit of a Dorset and West Lothian meltdown going on in the rain tonight . Will it break the BSF is the big question ?

  32. Trackrat, pretty sure Steve has you on ignore so he won't see you posting the score lol

  33. Danny Ford or Danny King? I know you get our Danny's mixed up sometimes!

  34. Justin Sedgeman. To be fair I have no issue with Steve's exclusion for 2 minutes BUT it should never have been brought back in the first place.

  35. Think it’s time for the dirt deflector to be sent to the retirement home, the sport never needed it

  36. The forecast hasn’t changed in nearly 3 days. Should have started at 3pm and it would have been no issue. We can all see the rain radar and the wet stuff closing in. Fingers crossed Gandalf turns up with his staff, shouting, “you shall not pass”.

  37. Come on.... This is UK "make it up as you go along" Speedway. .. Surely having Bomber there would be in the "interests of it"?

  38. and this Odsal Stadium now - still a great place for speedway - the FIM should think again
