£3195.06 was raised last night for the Ben fund and that includes the £200 Emil won for breaking the track record. Top bloke.9 points

In my experience what riders think is a good track and what supporters do can differ greatly.7 points

Some tremendous racing, fair play too Plymouth put up a good show with under strength Team.Harris and Worrell telling how it is in GB speedway( very p#ssed off with it).Well done BSN some great camera work and presentation.4 points

Be the usual late change to line up rubbish replaced by some NDL rider even though they knew he’d never be there. Cheating the fans once again.4 points

On a positive note I think Klindt deserves a lot of credit for his performances this season in an awful team, after a slow start and since taking on the captaincy he's been excellent and is rider of the year by a mile and not just because he's the last man standing from the start of the season As for Artem, he's been a massive disappointment and doesn't seem to have the right attitude for racing over here. I'm sure there are various other factors but if you don't give 100% you aren't going to succeed.4 points

Doesn't deserve a place Has shunned British Speedway and the British Final for many years He can't expect to and should not be be prioritised over the next on the list as it stood before his return3 points

Wow, just wow. Started a bit slow with all the shower making the track a bit heavy, but bomber and particularly basso unbelievable racing. Special mention for Ace brilliant move in heat 12.3 points

Richie Worrall is not taking his place in Mondays British Final because he doesn't agree with the one-off final. should be 3 or 4 rounds.2 points

Really entertaining meeting. BSN really can put together a package that is far superior to anything Eurosport has ever produced. Great interviews as well with a real scoop from the very amusing Richie Worrall.2 points

As a Poole fan I am used to people slagging off the club. i watched the BSN broadcast on Tuesday. It was obvious which clubs riders did not want to ride. Do some clubs want Plymouth out of the league because of the distance to travel especially in the summer with the holiday traffic? Just asking. With regard to not naming a rider for tonight remember Dan Thompson was only injured last night. Two Plymouth riders avre in the U21 Speedway of Nations, which I am watching. In addition there are six teams racing tonight. Poole have two guests at reserve, Scunthorpe have a reserve guest for Kemp, Where do you think Plymouth will get a guest from?2 points

Don't other teams have any gaters then. Poole can't have the only ones surely.?? ps. Opposition riders, when interviewed, often say the track is great. Sam Masters said exactly that on Wednesday, and would 'love to race there every week'! The usual suspects on here complained about holes and ruts in the past but they have been sorted out a few years ago.2 points
-
No I mean we are lucky to have a world class talent who has been 110% commited....been the best rider in the league and has time for the fans and has been a credit to the club and to the league Could have had cry baby Nicki or Artem who clearly doesnt want to be here2 points
-
Well i bought the BSN and i should have known better...........dross as usual at Poole Poole have done the right thing preparing a track that you cant pass on as they have a team of gaters particularly their top two who cant pass anyone You cant blame Poole for doing that they want to be successful and its the only thing that keeps the crowds coming in as Poole fans notoriously disappear when they arent winning Poole track used to be good when they had a team of racers there like Loram and Nicholls............no way would the track be prepared as it is now if this was 1999 lol You go for home track advantage and nothing wrong with that......you certainly wouldnt see the move Harris did on Doyle he wouldnt have had any chance on the current track What annoys people is the fact Poole fans cant take this point of view......its clear to everyone the track is set for gaters ....accept it and move on My track Ipswich is not a great track and we know that as Ipswich fans and certainly wouldnt claim it to be good like Poole fans What we do have is amazing riders like Doyle and Emil who bring in the crowds ......we arent likely to make top 4 but we go to see these 2 superstars So come on Poole fans admit the track is poor but its done to be successful which is fine2 points

Speedway in GB needs a total revamp. It’s really just like a Circus Act nowadays , same riders appearing at your track weekly riding for different Teams.( even your own some weeks). One main league ,riders committed to riding in GB(no GP stars taking all the money out the sport).NDL riders as reserves or even in the Team if necessary. No guests except for injury to No1.The standard will drop the racing will not suffer IMO with riders of the same standard racing each other more often than present day (Premiership is 2 standards in 1 Team).Rearranging fixtures will become more easy.Teams riding on what night suits the Club.It just cant go on like this if it too survive.(hard hat on). ps the NDL proves you only need riders of the same standard to provide entertaining racing.2 points

Who was the presenter last night? Did a top job imo especially considering the long gap that had to be filled2 points

Topping last year's £2772 which was already the highest in either league.2 points

Were you there....? Going fast is not just 100% throttle, its about body positioning and track craft. Something the new track record holder has in abundance. Whilst other riders rely on a quick bike to win races2 points

He only scored 4 but I admit he was better than I thought he was going to be, certainly better than Bowtell who was dissapointing.1 point

Has the British final not always been a 1 off meeting tho? Even if it was 3 or 4 rounds he still wouldn't stand a chance.1 point

I would have to disagree a bit with you there. Unless you mean someone who has been involved in Motorsport in general. In the early 2000's there was a chap called Adam Crozier who for some unknown reason all the big companies were all over. He was a disaster at the FA then f*cked up the Post Office and then ITV hired him! So sometimes it doesn't pay to hire an outsider.1 point

Irrelevant in speedway as men and women compete on equal terms. So if a transgender woman did ride it wouldn't be an issue. Personally, because of that, I don't really see the point of having woman only events. It just comes across to me as a gimmick. I know that Sophia Floersch, the first woman to ever score points in Formula 3 car racing, was very much against the woman's car racing championship and decided not to compete in it as she felt it was a backward step and limited the progression of women in the sport. There is also Ana Curasco, who rides in Moto GP3, and Celina Liebman, who has ridden in SGP2, who are competitive in their sports racing against men, so why restrict them to female-only racing?1 point

They could easily run a Commonwealth Final in addition and after the British Final, with the top eight Brits qualifying for that, and race against top Aussies and maybe one Kiwi or so, just like it used to be when it was a round of the World Championship.1 point

needs tough decisions unpopular with riders and some fans. The day 4 valves came in was the beginning of the bike wagging the rider so to speak. 90pc of fans couldn't give a moneys about the bikes, just want decent racing at a price we can afford.1 point
