Whatever the result the racing been night and day compared to Thursday. People go on about throttle jockeys, give me throttle jockey racing any day compared to that crap from Ipswich.

The NSS is such a good track it does make many others look worse than they are,,, if that was my home track I would be there every week without hesitation

If you ever come back, yours will be a crap track in comparison as well , as are most. You've won loads back in the day with a sh*t track , compared to others many times

Can I just say we'll done and commiserations to Belle Vue,,, to come back from 22 was fantastic effort.

Anyway back to the speedway! Chris Louis you beauty, Doyle and Emil are box office and it’s been a joy to watch them all season, reaching the final after winning the cup the icing on the cake, stick that in ya pipe and smoke it lemon hahaha

Brilliant choreographed speedway for all the muppets who were entranced by a staged match. To all the participants well done and hope you all are payed well. this is why no one bothers to watch.

What a heat 15.That just proves you can't really team ride here.How many times did all positions change.What a track,if we get any more new tracks hopefully they will base it on the Belle Vue track.Very envious of all you who live close and attend every meeting.

If you have never seen a fixed race then wake up to live entertainment and the need for it

Peaking at the right time is massive in sport. You’ve got one team here that was declared champions by the masses halfway through the year and another that was written off, tables have certainly turned now.

The issue for me is the fixtures and British speedway's inability to get fixtures done in a timely fashion. Oxford should never have had to ride a home fixture on a Sunday in mid September. It wasn't that long ago we were bemoaning the lack of British riders in Polish leagues, we can't now complain that they are missing our fixtures to be there when we can't get our own act together.

As discussed the same when Charles went out if he didn’t go and stayed to ride in the uk for Redcar it would mean a 28 day fim ban so wouldn’t be able to ride anywhere

A lot of the team building will be academic until the league structure is announced, no? Never know a season of so much uncertainty ahead - will it be one league, two league, three leagues? A good Championship side might not be that great if it's just one big league for instance.

While I agree with most of what you're saying, can you really blame Connor Bailey for signing for Wroclaw at the stage of the season where he knew he would only be required to race on a Sunday? He wasn't to know that a meeting would then be rearranged for a Sunday, not one of either clubs' dedicated race nights? Should he have turned down the chance to impress in Poland on the off chance? Bigger issue for me is the fixture congestion/backlog that has caused clubs to try and cram in the playoff fixtures desperately on any day, even knowing they won't be able to field a full strength team.

To be honest, I think that’s the feeling of most of the current fans that we have left now and the promoters also. The sport has less credibility than WWF or monster trucks and has become a bank holiday treat rather than a regularly attended event resulting in crowds no longer at a sustainable level. It’s a great shame for many clubs and fans, but it is what it is and it’s not going to change, I’ll continue to enjoy the racing at the National Speedway Stadium at whatever level it is, but I do feel for those who no longer have a team in this once great sport to follow.

Interesting all 4 back when Haworth ditched it on bend 2 and no exclusion when 1 rider knocked off his team mate Sheffield trying to win the same way they said was wrong when losing last yr. its within the rules but moral and spirit. Not for me. Robert Lambert is now the most successful play off rider in British speedway and he hasn’t ridden 10 matches outside the playoffs in Britain in 4 years. Hope Ipswich win it now. Sheffield will be praying Vissing doesn’t rule himself fit for Thursday or next week as that would be a mare for them.

Plenty of us at Redcar have had similar conversations all year, then he goes and rides Longtrack at bigger speeds and more riders in a race and does well. Sort of eliminates the bottle gone theory. He has loads of us confused to be honest.

How did Sheffield end up with 3 guests? Thought it was one HL and then RR for the other..? Let's hope a "select team" don't win the final...

Yes the meeting at Belle Vue picked up towards the end. The action at Monmore looked pretty good though

And to think the most important point for Ipswich after that semi final was the one Leicester didn't get at Peterborough

But Bailey wasn’t….he was only signed after Shane’s declared he wasn’t going to be fit and he had already got a Polish contract before his deal with Redcar. The problem here is not the riders, it’s the BSPL’s handing of the hole play off situation , fixtures and the ill thought out rules

Lamberts last scores at Monmore from 2019 riding for Kings Lynn were 5+1 and 4 . Belle Vues last two visits the scores were 46.44 and 47.43 so stop talking through your bottom and do some research before you post.

I saw he was leading the final this evening in the czech golden helmet before his tyre came off the rim. I reckon he’s going to be in fine form tomorrow ready to send the aces out
