Because Belle Vue never had Doyle and Emil . Harris will score between 5 and 7 at Best5 points

It goes to show that if you believe in the sport and invest from grass roots up, it makes a difference. One day the penny might drop with the BSPL but until then just look on with envy as to what can be achieved if you put your mind to it.thanks to the Poles and a special mention to Racers and Royals who goes out of the way to keep us all up to date and but for your posts many would miss so much. Thank you for all that you have done in 2023.4 points

Don't be a wimp and try to cover yourself in case your wrong . . Nothing lucky if im right he's against tough oppo in all his heats in a final no matter what his foxhall record is . He wont have to have a stinker to score 7 it would be what i would expect . Heats 13 and 15 will be Gp standard with people giving 100 % One thing for sure if im wrong are come back and admit it i wont need to cover myself or make excuses .3 points

Carrying that trophy off the stage will probably be his biggest challenge this GP season.3 points

One of those lads who always seems to give everything regardless of where he is riding... And enjoys what he does....3 points

Vaculik seems like a nice guy. He deserves third, based on that interview with Nicholls alone.3 points

It doesn't matter. All he had to do was keep up with Zmarzlik and make the semis. This is what will decide the title now.3 points

Well done Max Fricke, if the others raced Bartosz like that this year he might not of walked it like he has.3 points

He was riding against Ipswich’ heatleaders on his last visit to Foxhall this season with Leicester where he scored paid 14 (beating Emil). Orion is talking out of his ring piece.3 points
-
Because he wasn't riding against Ipswich's heat leaders, easier as a guest to ride for the home team than the away team, he will score more at Sheffield than at Ipswich3 points
-
He will get double figures no problem and he will beat Doyle or Emil at least once in my view, even if he doesnt he will still get double figures.3 points

Crowds were massive in the old days but that never stop clubs like Leicester Cradley and many others being knock down for redevelopment. .Swindon were one of best supported teams in the league but were still kick out so they try to build on the site .Rent is chicken feed to what you can make by building houses3 points

Looking forward to the final. Sheffield have a weakened team but hopefully they'll step up to the plate.3 points

Kelvin reckons Madsen hasn't done enough to squeeze into the top six after just showing us the chart with him fifth. Dear oh dear!2 points

Kelvin really is clueless. Bewley is out. Bewley 104. Madsen with a minimum of 14 points puts him on at least 109.2 points

Of course there’s a chance Harris has a stinker but all that will prove is Orion got very lucky with his prediction. Over the last two season’s, Harris’ scores at Foxhall have been 11+1, 9+1, 14+1, 14+1, 8+1, 12+2 and 10+3 so there’s absolutely nothing in the recent past to suggest Harris will score “between 5 and 7 at best”. I hope he’s right though!!2 points

Hang on… so points scored tonight don’t count towards the overall rankings, it’s a set score for the winner, second, third, etc.?2 points

Doyle is dangerous and puts other riders at risk every week. He’s constantly defended by the commentary team.2 points

I understand your point, but Smith can only guest against Belle Vue because they've deemed him not good enough to ride for them? He's surplus to requirements as Belle Vue (correctly) believe Bailey to be stronger, so in theory shouldn't score any points, if they lost out - need to blame themselves for not riding well enough, that's my view anyway.2 points

I'm obviously in the minority here, but I have no issue with Harris guesting for Ipswich in the semi & then Sheffield in the final. Riders guest all year round & can even knock their own team out of competitions. So can't see how this is a big issue, when his team isn't involved.2 points

Just wonder between Josh's decision and Berwick's to drop bullets they know something about the structure next year. I'd imagine Edinburgh would want to be in the stronger league and Josh might want to stay at Sheffield. And would Berwick maybe choose to ride in a champ light version or Ndl plus however want to look at it?2 points
-
I might be in the minority but as great as Josh is to watch I’m not overly fussed that he’s moving on. He’s not an out and out number 1 gating at times is awful, however you then get entertainment but as a number 1 your job is to go out and dominate races imo. Which then makes him a very expensive number 5 and leaves you weak elsewhere.2 points

2022 it was 42, 2023 its 40 so I'm guessing we're waiting on the rolling of the chicken bones for 242 points

So the news the fans had been dreading, no Josh next year. Always admire riders who are ambitious and want to challenge themselves. Josh has been a great rider for us so I am sure every blue and gold fan wishes him well. He was very emotional last night and it would have been nice if he had been publicly thanked for his seven year contribution to Edinburgh. Big boots to fill next year. Thank you Joshie P.2 points

We have successfully removed BSN from iptv services over recent weeks are in process of following legal procedures against those who have stolen our content. Coincidentally, our viewing figures have increased so it shows how much this was hurting us, and British Speedway. Account sharing has also been majorly cracked down on with some tightening of the code. We can also review every account and pick out those who are attempting to share viewings.2 points

About what I expected but a very entertaining meeting again at Scunthorpe. Bears started well and kept it close for a while but the Scorpions pulled away. Most of the Bears battled well, including Flint. Some cracking racing from both teams. Unless Bears get a decent guest for the second leg the Scorpions should be favourites for that meeting too and should progress to the final easily.2 points

That council leader meeting a couple of pages ago had me thinking. Clearly the leader does not understand how the local plan should work. He talks about not spending public money to help the speedway. The public money spent on producing the plan was obviously spent. It is now time we should be getting some of that value for our spent money. The Local Plan should be used to ensure that developers develop in line with the overall city planning objectives, not just the developers pockets. The council are responsible for accepting or rejecting plans that do not comply with the local plan. The excuses that no members of any Western Home Counties golf clubs ever discuss the last night's meeting at Belle Vue or Foxhall will not wash round here. AEPG are FULLY responsible for producing plans that provide for compulsory elements of local plan in the plans they submit to the council planning department. Under the National Authority of Local Councils Guidance, the council can provide intermediary assistance between developers and existing property owners but the requirement to plan and pay for the re-provision of a speedway stadium in the EoS if they are not going to leave it where it is falls entirely to AEPG. If they do not, the council must show them the door The actions to insist in speedway at EoE ending this season and using that to claim non-viability are contrary to planning law and can be used to insist that these two combined applications must be rejected out of hand. AEPG, as current owners of the showground, would be fully responsible if there is any criminal damage to the speedway facilities and it is found that they either collude with the those potentially doing damage or order it themselves. (shades of the wonky pub and Brandon Stadium in Coventry.- same rules) Another interesting document if the footy gets too boring: https://www.nalc.gov.uk/library/publications/1634-planning-explained/file2 points

I think your getting confused, I know the rule, just because there is a rule it doesn't make it right. This is a forum not the rules panel. The rule that states a playoff rider can't guest even when his team are out, but a none playoff rider can guest for anyone and everyone is ludicrous.2 points
