Sheffield booked the tiny No1 room with no sea view for £200 per night but at the last minute we're allowed to switch to the Robert Lambert penthouse suite (amazing reassessed at just £175 per night)5 points

Well I'm sure getting a ban for cocaine use will be a big boost to his case for access.3 points

Assuming Richie is factually correct. Bottom line is if he never had cocaine in his system he wouldn’t have got a £1,500 fine if he took his punishment instead spouting off all over social media he wouldn’t have got the £3000 fine. No point in blaming everyone else.3 points

He'll pay considerably less than half the current CL in the PL. But he'll not lose money and have a competitive home team. If they average 25 points away he'll save money. He is very pragmatic. He's outlived a lot of dream merchants.3 points

He could be the most important signing of all. Best in the business IMO.3 points

They picked the hotel because they had heard it has plenty of "guests".... I'll get me coat...3 points

Hopefully we see another statement from the SCB in the coming days, adding yet another fine to his existing two and impose the suspended element of his ban also, clown deserves all he gets2 points

can only mean that when Rob is in Hungry for the fim meeting this weekend he will be finalising deals with Magic and Laguta wondered why he was shying away from signing Luke Harrison2 points

If its scratching around for a sixth team to make it feasible then it absolutely is unfortunately.2 points

Having seen Rye House close after the decision to move up to the Premier, I hope Scunthorpe don’t make the same mistake. I have no idea of the cost difference between the two leagues but surely points money must be more.2 points

It'd be naive to think this wouldn't be going through the accounts as a tax deductible business expense2 points

Personally the riders named have been here and done a bit, but Rene Bach would be an ok signing, but may not be cheap flying in and out of the country, didn't our promotion say the team had to be at a budget they could afford, would like to see a team of tryers that would win at home. Than a few top riders who may bankrupt the club on the 1st season back.2 points

Why should the Championship have to suffer to preserve the “so called” Premiership when only a handful of the different riders in that division are better than the present level of second division riders…..the majority are the same riders anyway. It’s a farce. I know it’s unlikely to happen but surely, logically, it’s time for one league with each team meeting twice home and away.2 points

Ritchie makes some valid points on how bad british speedway is run but he just reminds me of a teenager first joining social media. Why didnt he just accept the fine and move on? I understand hes fustrated but hes in his bloodys 30's!1 point

All these shenanigans reminds me of when the authorities had to try and deal with Michael Lee, he was a bit of a loose cannon to say the least and if social media had been a thing in his day he would probably have had a field day... not to mention it being across all of the papers! The difference of course is that Michael Lee was a World Champion and Richie Worrall is nothing more than a tin pot 2nd division rider with quite a high opinion of himself it seems. Good riddance to bad rubbish, the sport is not going to lose a single fan due to him not being involved in it.1 point

A 'tax deductible business expense' is still an expense. It reduces your tax liability on your profit, but tax deductible doesn't mean free, it just means it ultimately costs less than it otherwise would. And of course it's an expense, which will come out of the non existent profits made by the clubs. Equally, speedway promoters are losing a crap load of money. I am not going to begrudge them an overseas jolly/business trip. Without them there is no sport as we have it just now.1 point

Desperation if it happened. IMO.Do think the Premiership is on a spot of bother though.1 point

It's not, but its because its too grippy and has far too much clay in it. But stocks rule unfortunately. Bomber will be a great signing wherever he goes.1 point

You lot can all think what you like. However, from what I'm hearing this is the strongest and most exciting Lynn team we have had in years1 point

A victim of fighting with your team mates maybe? I've always thought Brennan comes across really well with his public persona but now he's been binned off by Glasgow & Belle Vue1 point
-
I do find the use of averages still a completely unnecessary system where teams that are successful are ripped apart. Teams are built to a decimal off the daft points limit and then we see multiple team changes throughout the year. Riders should be graded and throw the calculators in the bin.1 point
