  3. Awesome meeting tonight, two top sides going hammer and tong, whats not to like?! Massive shout out to the Poole fans on turn 1 (NID Corner I believe they call themselves) - made plenty of noise and atmosphere and it was a pleasure to be around them - an absolute credit to the club

  4. 10th Aug last Home meeting (including a 5 week break). No wonder people are fed up with fixture planning.Something needs to be done or the sport will be finished.

  7. Don’t think it matters who the Ref is.( unless it’s McGregor).

  8. Well done to Plymouth but man of the match award goes too good old Babs she had a stormer. Or was it woman of the match either way she was horrific. Nothing Plymouth could do they rode well, both teams rode well but was ruined by an ego maniac.

  9. We threw away too many points and were woeful at reserve. The ref was poor. We needed everything to go right tonight to have a chance of winning. With our normal 1 - 7 we wouldn't have done any better, Ivacic would've been lucky to make it back out of the second bend. Cami looked a man under pressure, perhaps he suspects what we are all beginning to think.

  10. Well done to Plymouth, however Horley was horrific with some of her decisions

  11. She has done her best to ruin which was an entertaining meeting. She makes Scottish football refs look half competent.

  12. The object of my post was to alert those who knew him well and could possibly offer help not to arouse speculation, it would be helpful and preserve dignity if Technik's post and refernces could be removed please.

  13. Won't you be in the way of the riders?

  14. Didn't see much wrong with Hagon, he came in on 2 point average. He is now in the your top 5 partnering with Lawson (top of the league averages) for 3 of his rides. He scored 3 points away from home hardly carrying him.

  15. Baek ran into Jenkins which caused him to leave the track then lift because he was on the grass, then taking out Thompson. Unbelievable that the ref watched replays and came to the conclusion that Jenkins caused Baek to fall. Also I thought the ref was only able to use video evidence if it was BSN or Eurosport. How does she watch a replay and decide Jack was at fault in heat 5? Re tac sub give that they passed up the opportunity to use a t/s in heat 10 do you not think they would have told Jack don't get a heat advantage in heat 11. The fact that Glasgow only scored 2 points from reserve irrespective of the refs performance was the reason they lost the meeting.

  17. Disappointing end to another frustrating injury-hit season for the Bandits. The team showed a lot of promise at the beginning of the year but injuries, loyalties to certain riders and poor management at times means that it’s another wooden spoon for the Bandits. Roll on next season, Kemp first name on the team sheet hopefully…

  25. Isn't the power that be a CL promoter? I think Poole wanted 2H2A but it was voted down by others... and Poole are still in all competitions! Truth is there was absolutely no appetite to stage speedway meetings from the majority of Speedway promoters in the CL, if they don't want to stage Speedway perhaps they should step aside, especially when riders are retiring due to lack of meetings.

  33. If I could bring this thread kicking and screaming back to the actual match, if Workington have any serious intentions about pinching a play off place then this is a must win for them. But Oxford thought that last week and we know what happened. Hopefully a good match to end the season.

  34. Yet again you continue to spout absolute bollocks. You only do it to divert attention away from your shambles of a club. Saw your comments on the Comets FB when the Plymouth meeting was postponed about being ‘cheats’ and you were laughed off. Not touchy, we just don’t suffer fools like you lightly up here.

  35. Watch Emil on lap 3 he went for the same on lap 4, he clipped the fence before going into the bend and was carrying loads of speed he looked like he just lost it to me.. you are one of these who love to slag Sheffield off in any way so fill your boots Arch

  36. Cracking meeting this, thoroughly enjoyed it. Decent crowd (I think) with many club’s supporters other than those competing in attendance. Met five Panthers fans! The meat pie was excellent. Only gripe from me, cash only for refreshments. Only gripe from my Grandson, no track souvenir shop.

  38. Losing by 6 points away isn't struggling at all. If Poole are good enough to win all their home matches by 8 points, which they are, then they'll still win every trophy going!

  41. Oh dear! Well done Scunny. Excellent meeting with both sides getting something from it. Bought the stream. Pictures were fine but commentary appalling, including some swearing - very amateurish compared to some others.

  44. Apart from rain offs the Monarchs have raced every Friday night bar one (when it was an academy fixture) since the 26th April so no long breaks in fixtures here

  45. You still garn on about that? You’re getting as bad as the rest of the trolls on here.

  46. It does not take much to seek four or six volunteers to act as rakers even if you have to let them in for free, rider safety is paramount, so I am not sure what the issue is with finding some willing hands to help out. It never use to be a problem but perhaps health and safety has reared its head. No matter, Emil and Chris live to fight another day and between them are probably two of the best entertainers on the British track scene giving it everything to win and entertain us mere mortals in the stands.

  49. In the Pairs at Sandy Lane last year he was doing wheelies down the straights while in last position, so it's a fair comment about whether he turns up or not - he was a disgrace. Try respecting the fans and perhaps he'll get the same level of respect in turn.
