To be honest I don’t really care about the second half at all. It’s clear that Doyle and Emil just didn’t fancy it, the meeting preview didn’t mention bonus points but everyone is quick to defend them for some reason. There must be one Ipswich fan that can hold their hand up and admit that they couldn’t be bothered to ride in it without making up excuses for them. bonus points weren’t mentioned at all, until funnily enough the match report. Really!.Riders just want to ride on a Motorway slick track these days. Berwick has always been a fast track and difficult to pass.It not a slick this season as it has been in previous years.May be it will create bit of home track advantage. ps Never saw the class riders lurching all over the place that you did.

Why do you need to blame anyone? It's a team sport. Everyone has a bad meeting occasionally. Don't remember you two reacting like this in the playoff final when Tom only got 4 at Oxford. But as you say you don't want Lewi at Poole so it suits I guess. Maybe they should put him at 4 whilst settling in. But shame to split up Zach and Anders partnership which is working well already.

Poole were 2nd best last night, Kerr had a shocker yes but that is speedway, it wasn’t for the lack of effort that he only scored 2 points. Luckily the meeting shouldn’t matter as a home win against Oxford will see Poole through. Far too early to judge riders. Come the next few weeks is when it’s fair to see how riders and teams are getting on

Will watch the replay when I'm back home. Haven't seen a home team win this season yet (Belle Vue, Edinburgh, Glasgow and Berwick have all lost at home and Workington didn't win the pairs also. Also a good reason to have the pairs and riders championship later in the season to see how riders are going during the season (Polis for Edinburgh as an example).

It wasn’t even anything to do with the actual meeting! It was a last minute novelty event to remember a former rider and nobody knew it was even happening until the day before! People are debating the ins and outs of it like it was a crucial GP! Absolutely nuts. If I was Louis I wouldn’t bother in future.

Actually it was Plymouth HL = 22 PTS Poole HL = 19 PTS Both teams has their 3rd heat leader riding at 4. Regardless Kerr has to be the one who would shoulder most of the blame for the loss.

You do understand Doyle and Sayfutdinov scored 8 points in the match and Thompson scored 7, yes? They're the points scored in the match. They're the points that count in the averages. They're the points by which the BSPA press office rank the top scorers in the points list? Bonus points are just for the pay packet. But Ipswich have said that Doyle and Sayfutdinov had excuses for ducking out, and giving the place to the next in line. So I don't see what people are getting their knickers in a twist over. If I were offered some extra work on top of my main job at a lesser payrate I may well turn it down too.

No good the team manager criticising riders for being inconsistent when a couple of his own tactical decisions were at variance with what was obvious to most watching.

I don't agree with the sprint races & the fact that they offer extra points. Now the qualification as I understand for the Semi finals is from 3rd to 10th with the top two straight to the final. I can't argue with the top two moving to the big race but I think it would be better for a last chance for the next 4. potentially a GP winner could finish on 6 points or even less to get the top points + the sprint race points. FIASCO!!!
