Do you know anything is getting 'conveniently brushed under the carpet' or is this pure conjecture. Who are these ' creditors of the old trading company who will have lost out financially'?. Who won't get a penny back? . Perhaps you can clarify with examples what you mean by 'so many business practices are accepted as normal and acceptable' . if this is all assumption then with respect you should keep it to yourself instead of trying to make out the Comets have cheated fictitious creditors out of money.10 points

Or simply a promotion that is passing on its experience in growing its fan base to give Worky a fighting chance of becoming the success that it deserves to be. Since the Facenna's took over Glasgow, they have spent 10 years trying to build the fan base in a city that only see's green or blue and have seen what works and what doesn't work, if Worky can benefit from that 10 years experience along side the business experience of Allied then that can only be good for British Speedway.9 points

The riding style of today gives little room to pass... They enter turns now pretty much sideways, whereas they used to go into them almost grass track like, with left foot forwards and then hooking the bike up when it hit the dirt... Meaning the rider behind had options... Now there is no dirt so riders can just fly into the dust knowing they won't get fired off anywhere, by hitting any grip... The tyres too are conducive to slick circuits whereas the hard compound ones used years ago were conducive to grippier circuits.. At a track like Sheffield, any rider going in to a bend sideways, and riding a two thirds track, will mean there is very little space outside him to go around, and with no grip on the kerb, it means little opportunity to pass, especially at the speed they go there.. Several tracks have widened their bends to give more entry and exit lines, and give riders behind potential room to go around opponents who have locked up, filling a large portion of the turn... The reality is with the modern riding style, the more circular, wider circuits provide the best racing, and converting a more oval, narrower one, into this design isn't easy... Sheffield actually has the shape, but probably needs at least three metre's taking off the inside given how the air fence has impacted the racing there...5 points

28 day ban in sufficient punishment. Weak . Very Weak. If he is medically fit to race then he is medically fit to race anywher. (He would not be insured if he continued to race against medical advice) Should be given 7 days to race again in the UK for his contracted side. If he fails to do so , banned for the rest of the season in UK. This will prevent any other club signing him ( e.g. for the p.offs.) KL should be given a facility fo the rest of the season. If we have professional speedway in he UK they ought to start behaving like a professional governing body.4 points

Well done to the Plymouth promotion at least giving it a go. You won't get much better than Nicholas, I think he will be fine after his first ride or so. Some clubs are quite happy clearly to coast through the season with no ambition. Again well done Plymouth I hope your fortunes turn3 points

Wasn't Starke signed well before the end of last season though? Like few months before. Prob was between Tobi/Vinnie/Hagon.3 points

My Opinion (for what it is worth) Tin Hat On.! If the Premiership want to continue in present form ,let them get on with it.The Championship need to take a step back only use riders that are available to ride in every fixtures for their Championship Team .Teams made up of NDL riders promoted into Championship (probably meaning at least 2 in each Club)to replace shortfall of riders that will occur .Standard will drop but entertainment will not(IMO).Set a new points limit taking into account of the situation.Riders Doubling up put Championship Club as priority. The number of Clubs means the fixture list can be accommodated without much problem (IM0) in a 6 month Season. Clubs race on their own regular night. Dont think it would affect attendances too any great degree as too what they are at present. Riders in GB who canāt make GB speedway pay need to find a Club in Europe that will pay the money they demand or go semi-pro or retire. I know this is all pie in the Sky to a lot of people.(thatās life) One. thing for sure without a Major rethink the sport will keep on sinking. Nobody though when the the original 2nd division was was formed it would turn out be as successful with the standard of riders it started with but it developed a lot of talent. There is not room in Poland for everyone from UK. The End. Suggestions on aĀ£20 note pleasešš3 points

If crowds were good enough to support having the top riders then why would the leagues have been watered down? Do you not think it was that even with 'top' riders they still didn't attract crowds big enough to sustain having them so the leagues had to be weakened to keep clubs alive? The quality of riders on show will have little impact on new fans as they won't know any of the top names anyway.3 points

I totally agree that SJA is right to raise the issue that there will be creditors of the old trading company who will have lost out financially. I wonder if Comets fans who want to conveniently brush that under the carpet and move on would be as forgiving if they were owed money? Have a bit of sympathy for those who won't get a penny back of any monies they were owed. It's no wonder speedway in this country has reached a crisis point when so many questionable business practices are accepted as normal and acceptable!3 points

That would be OK if people didn't misrepresent the legal position (as some Worky fanboys have). Combating that misinformation with a more accurate description of the legal position seems a perfectly proportionate response.3 points

Does he live in the UK ? What if his visa says to live here, he has to work here ? Being ill or injured are valid reasons for not working here, but you're either fit enough to race or unfit to race. Maybe whoever sponsors his visa should be notifying the relevant authorities he's in breach of his visa.2 points

RR for Danyon is not a good option Means two rides for reserves who apart from the odd good gate and win are not strong enough2 points

100% agree, however... UK Speedway has put themselves into such a position that they need these riders more than the riders need UK Speedway... There is simply no deterrent as UK Speedway cannot afford to have one...2 points

Ben Trigger Should he be asked, should Ben ride for the Gladiators again this season, No !! His worth in the team by the management has been well and truly documented. His Championship confidence is probably at its lowest. What's to say it won't happen again,if someone else comes along. Better in my eyes to carry on at NL level and pick up guest bookings in the CL this season. Rebuild his confidence and next season, knock it out of the track !2 points

As a matter of interest what would BV fans estimate the attendance last night. Just curious as just watched Zach Cook's insta reel where it looks like big gaps in the stands?! Incidentally Zach has increased his BV average by just under 0.5 a point, whereas his Poole average has increased by over 0.6. BTW Happy Birthday today Zach.š2 points

Why should Ipswich be that bothered? They are going to finish in the play offs anyway, not point risking too much. Everyone know these meetings are largely unimportant, itās all about the play offs, that is what the league has been designed to be now.2 points

i dont think it boils down to just that one thing though, sure its had a part in it but there are plenty of other factors that have seen the crowd dwindling too.1 point
