No just an opinion based on his past history. I hope he returns, he is a top rider in this league when fit.

Do you miss the great occasion that was Cardiff ?

Also another point would be they changed the time for Cardiff so people could travel back the same day but the Manchester gp is at 7! Plus if you were not rushing home you could walk and have a nice meal afterwards, you cant do that after the gp tonight, you have to eat beforehand or have something from the overpriced food outlets. -

And now we are moaning because we no longer have it at Cardiff which has a lot to offer. I would add that I thought the last gp was better racing wise and Bewley winning was brilliant for the British fans. I did think they could have risked one more year and it must have been a late decision as tickets were still available until December. I also enjoyed the fan zone in Cardiff but that got depleted year on year and some shows, like the bmx, were cut on the day because the organisers prioritised what was happening on the main stage which I thought was a shame. -
It looks that way at the moment.

Obviously a log of justifiable criticism of the track but it it hadnt been so bumpy Bomber would never have won, he loves a challenge! As a Poole fan Lindback winning was another highlight especially as I had a decent bet on him. Criticism of the hotels is justified also but you didn't have to stay in Cardiff, we hardly ever did preferring to stay outside Cardiff and get a train in. -

Part of the enjoyment was the whole city seemed to embrace it and people were talking about it everywhere you went. Also you could guarantee it would be on although the drainage and facilities at the NSS seem to be so good the meetings there are rarely affected. -

I went to every Cardiff gp too and I miss it very much. It was an occasion and a big event, now it is great racing on a great racetrack but a lot less people see it live. -

Stayed at Bridgend a few times and Porthcawl caravan site both not far on the train. Never understood why people stayed in Cardiff and paid crazy prices for hotels. Like you quid over the years especially when Bomber won. -

Cardiff was a great occasion and the last gp held there was pretty good racing wise, the year before was awful though and that is probably what killed it although I thought they pulled the plug too soon. Nothing wrong with transport, plenty of trains and buses. You didn't have to book an expensive hotel, we always stayed locally, last time was Caerphilly 30 mins on the train. -
Yes every opportunity is taken to kick us, even when it is not our fault. It is fair to say sometimes we bring on ourselves though!

Ah so you are the Poole of the premiership!!
-
I am sure he will be in the championship next season, his average will level out when he is in main body of the team.
-
He needs to lower it a bit or he won't get a team place next season!!
-
Surely it will be called off due to the threat of rain.
-
And Belle Vue
-
It may not have needed to be rushed through or only get to heat 10, if the rain did not start until 8.30, the rain at that point may have only been enough to damp the dust down, in my experience the Kings Lynn track has always been able to take a bit of water.
-
Could of been hurried through because of rain threat.
-
Well done Kings Lynn for the early call, torrential rain due very soon.
-
Oh I thought he was talking about himself!

Edinburgh Monarchs Vs Poole Pirates 29th May 2026

Yes maybe lack of experience too. Probably should have put Will in heat 14. -

So Bowes may have got 2 last night which would not have been much different to Tate but we would have expected more from Zischke given he got 9 last time. Harris got 13 the last time he was at Edinburgh and Dan T got 11, so he outscored Dan T on his own track, maybe last night the track didn't suit Harris, no idea why he gets 13 one month and 6 the next. -

He used to play for QPR!! -
The 2004 World cup final was incredible just a shame we lost! Sport is about winning though and while many would have gone home saying we lost but a cracking meeting, a large section would have been gutted we didn't win. Unfortunately some of the most entertaining venues in this country have been lost.
