  1. So it could be true or not then. At least the averages issue is clear, for today at least. 16.2.1.4 Updated MA’s will be calculated monthly on a rolling basis on all eligible meetings, up to and including 23rd of the month to become effective from the 1 st of the following month. 16.2.1.5 NDL Established MA’s are issued when a Rider completes 4 NL Meetings (irrespective of whether home or away) to be effective 7 days after the last qualifying Meeting. 16.2.1.6 A SGB Premiership or Championship assessed League rider will establish an MA after 4 Home and 4 Away fixtures, becoming effective 7 days after the last qualifying Meeting. Should an Established MA not be achieved to be effective from 1 st May, then the MC may issue a revised MA, based upon actual rides if the Team re-declares. 16.2.1.7 A NDL rider, who is not in an NDL Team Declaration will be given an Established MA after completing 4 Meetings, irrespective of being home or away.
  2. Sometimes you really can't make this sort of stuff up. Since when were rolling averages introduced ?? Probably yesterday. I have interest in ALL teams thanks and will post where I like thanks, including on my own teams threads. It's called being a fan of speedway. As I previously said it's the BSPA that are to blame for any apparent manipulation. And any club that attempts to fiddle will rightly get stick for. That's the same if it's Poole, Wolves or any other team.
  3. Can you show me the rule that confirms that then, thanks. And still making guff up.
  4. Since when has anything important been included in the rules? ? They are already changing the rules on the new rolling averages. Nothing is ever clear or actual. Ford has already said he would have used Piotr if he hadn't been reassessed to 9, PA confirmed Piotr had asked for his name to be circulated. Zagar has already mentioned that he had been ruled out of Britain due to being reassessed as a GP rider on a 9. Adams said Woffy was considering a return till he was ruled out by the GP 9 point ruling. Seems to have been dropped after a very short time. As it stands it's yet again open to interpretation what averages riders would come back into the league on. The usual bumblings from the BSPA.
  5. It wasn't established at all. Why would some promoters and riders mention it if it wasn't true? Either way there is no conclusive evidence that it was or wasn't. Zagar mentioned it in a tweet and I was present at the talk in that Pete Adams discussed it. Another of those rules that they might use of its 'in the best interest of British speedway' rules.
  6. Yes I do thanks, why are you asking. Maybe if you read the post properly before replying you will see it was an attack on the rules. You would know that if you read it. Please don't tell me where to post please Mike, it's a free forum to post wherever you want. Let's not start playing that game. Thanks.
  7. It needed clarifying from the off, ditto all the rules they make. The ruling only one over 8 is pretty clear if you take it by the intent. So when the averages become new for 2018 it could be assumed that you can't bring in any rider over 8 if you started the season with an 8 pointer. Could Poole's poor start to the season allow them to sign a rider over 8 ??? If you want to fudge the rules yes. Typical of the BSPA to allow a rule to be interpreted in another way. And typical of ANY team trying to fudge that rule too. Would Tai/Piotr/Zagar be allowed back on their 7+ averages or be forced to use the reassessed 9 they were given at the start of the season. One thing that can be sure is IF Piotr signs for Poole in place of someone else is that Poole will get tons of stick for under performing to make the move happen. Plus it would have the stinkiest odour to it as well. Poole haven't got new averages yet so how can you say you don't have a rider over 8? You do until the new averages come into effect.
  8. That's assuming the rules are the same as the start of the season of course! One rider over 8 rule. If hypothetically Schlein becomes our number one and Jacob drops below 8 it still wouldn't be permitted. Assuming again that the BSPA stick to the rules.
  9. But not possible so not even a valid point to discuss.
  10. The ruling appears transparent. It can be the only explanation. No one is eager to get anyone a seven day ban. The rule stats it. Unless you think we should allow rule breaking?? Just to be clear, I don't agree with it.
  11. No surprise at the result, with Iversen well below his usual form. A good win for the table toppers tho.
  12. Couldn't agree more. Iversen is always a big scorer at Monmore, likewise Lambert is great value also. Could be our toughest test yet. 47-43
  13. Look at all them old folks Steve looks very serious in this. I take it Poole had just given away another 4-2 Fwiw Steve is friendly to talk too, don't be shy folks.
  14. Out of 3 matches so far twice he has a scored well and once only scored 5. That's a usual KK pattern. He is as often poor as he is good. Standard KK.
  15. Think most were thinking the same when Poole went to Belle Vue who were terribly weakened. But still, we got a point. So they all count come September.
  16. The Pole has ridden Monmore before. Piotr Pawlicki mastered the track within weeks and I remember Miskowiak making his debut at wolves scoring something like 18. It's all about adaptation. So Magic in for Kurtz then given the 1 8 and over rule. Of maybe they are under instructions to reduce averages to bring another ringer in?
  17. Agreed although Ward could ride any track. Don't ever recall him having a track he struggled on.
  18. Most thinking riders know how to ride it. It's all about throttle control.
  19. Can't see Rye getting anything out of this despite the Aces remaining weakened. 55-35
