  1. Not quite accurate Steve. All the rider's want track work, 2 rider's didn't want to know regardless and pack up their gear. No matter which way you look at it it was totally unacceptable to be packing up your equipment when the meeting wasn't called off. Us fans were treated badly Thursday night by our own rider's.
  2. Both stories point in the same direction, and 2 rider's refused to continue while everyone else carried on. Regardless of their opinion their teammates clearly didn't agree with them. Packing their gear away while the outcome of the meeting hasn't been decided is not acceptable regardless.
  3. Revised team 1. Iversen 9.04 2. Jorgensen 6.08 3. Huckenbeck 5.93 4. Williamson 5.06 5. R.Lambert 7.44 6. Porsing 4.96 7. S.Lambert 3.00 41.51 It's not overly strong but just want Batchelor and Holder out
  4. You have a pop at me who was there saying how do I know what the problem is then go on about what the problem is from a couple of shocking "sources"
  5. Absolutely prefer Championship speedway, haven't seen a bad meeting at Peterborough this season
  6. Having issues with getting a single ticket in the lower tier L39 North Stand (family area) as they won't add a single adult ticket. Is it possible to get to the lower tier from the upper tier UN4 as I can get a single ticket. That way I can just chuck my little'n on my lap Any help appreciated
  7. Bournemouth Echo http://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/sport/15411579.amp/ Eastern Daily Press http://www.edp24.co.uk/sport/buster-chapman-apologises-to-king-s-lynn-stars-fans-and-has-a-dig-at-some-of-his-riders-1-5106314?utm_medium=twitter&utm_source=dlvr.it Doesn't take a scientist to work out who the problems were last night. If they're not sacked, I will not be backing Holder and Batchelor again. As far as I'm concerned, we're a 5 man team with 2 individuals. I want them out regardless of the damage it'll cause for the rest of 2017. I'm devastated that Gavin Carney has quite as the announcer, such a sad situation.
  8. Withholding his services. He went and got changed after heat 7. Came back out for a tactical ride then refused to ride again in heat 13 and pack his gear away.
  9. Can a rider be signed while serving a 28 day ban? If not, it could see the end of Holder's British season.
  10. I'm totally ashamed of my (not so much of a) team tonight. How you perform away from home is totally irrelevant when things like tonight happen. It's a real embarrassment on the club, the sport and the man at the helm of British Speedway.
  11. How beautiful is it to see the Pirates scratching around to find scraps
  12. Fancy the 3 Poles to take the medals this year 1. Drabik 2. SmektaƂa 3. Woryna
  13. I think it's a great shame that people are advocating that a rider's opinion of a manager should dictate. There's a professional maturity that should be held between rider and manager, if one or the other can't get on then it has to be the rider that goes. Once you go down the road of rider's dictating it's asking for trouble.
  14. You can't never compare a meeting on a 1v1 basis as there's 4 rider's in a race 1. KK-JH v TB-TJ (5-1) 2. PS-JS v LR-DA (4-2) 3. NK-RW v KH-RL (2-4) 4. HA-JS v CH-DA (4-2) 5. NK-RW v TB-TJ (2-4) 6. KK-JH v CH-LR (4-2) 7. HA-PS v KH-RL (4-2) 8. JH-JS v TJ-DA (5-1) 9. NK-RW v CH-LR (2-7) 10. KK-JH v KH-RL (5-1) 11. HA-PS v TB-TJ (4-2) 12. NK-JS(PS) v KH-LR (1-5) 13. KK-HA v TB-CH (3-3) 14. RW-PS v RL-DA(LR) (4-2) 15. KK-JH v CH-RL (5-1) 54-39
  15. Well, on Saturday at King's Lynn before the SWC meeting a GB rider was in the local McDonald's smashing a burger and chips
  16. It ain't lying though is it just the drive to Poole might be a bit far for those that attended
  17. Part of Woffinden's plan was to buy the rights to the international team, probably with a similar way of working to the USA. The BSPA refused to sell
  18. That's a swift turnaround as Simon's return was meant to be for Peterborough this week only. Maybe Ayres performance last night rattled the management a little. Is he at Poole tomorrow too then?
  19. Yes he is but if last night is anything to go by
  20. Lambert is now at an age where he can be influenced easily one way or another. It's not a case of not supporting him or wanting him to be average. Seeing the massive potential he had at 15-16 to now he hasn't moved on enough, I'd say he's stagnated and the potential he'd once shown is now just looking like any other rider. He no longer stands out from the rest.
  21. I don't think any real Speedway fan would pick Poole's track over Wolverhampton's.
