  1. KK on his day could be a good option but I'd be disappointed if we signed him to be honest. That said Klindt, Pickering, KK, MPT, Jorgensen and Jakobsen with Edwards or Thomas would be incredibly solid.
  2. That is a very good point Lisa. All very well for clubs who get to the latter stages of all competitions but for others not great at all. Could widen the gap between the haves and have nots which wouldn't be good. Bit of a speedway shambles announcing two home and away then changing it.
  3. I think the new owner(s) but is right but it wasn't related to the delay AFAIK.
  4. Where did you hear that? The delay was said to be Leicester related.
  5. The usual mix of the good, the bad and the ugly. Super Heats will divide opinion and while the bonus point system worked ok for years I personally preferred the 3-2-1-0-1-2-3-4 in its original form. Glad Rising Stars have been maintained, seemed little point in ditching it after a year. They seemed to have addressed the subject of August inactivity which for me was the biggest issue last season. A pity Glasgow didn't move up to make it 8/8 but there we are.
  6. On big tracks yes, don't expect too much at Wolves or Ipswich though.
  7. One assumes this means Leicester are trying to poach riders that P'boro have already agreed deals with rather than who rode for them in 2022. Lawson?
  8. Essentially it's going to be a handful of riders who have ridden here before and enjoy the challenge of British tracks.
  9. It happens with guests unfortunately, not sure holding a grudge five years later does anyone any good.
  10. You've obviously not come across this poster before, it's about who they like or dislike rather than any kind of logic or fact based theory. Jorgensen probably refused a selfie or to sign their photo or something once.
  11. No idea why you wouldn't want Bomber but in any case he has only ridden for two Prem clubs to my knowledge and therefore not most.
  12. Absolutely. Lots of people get a lot of enjoyment out of guessing line ups and speculating. Perhaps a bah humbug thread should be started for those who don't enjoy it
  13. Sounds like Nicholls to me. Great signing who would score lots of points at home especially. What would Masters, Becker, Douglas, Nicholls, Flint and Cook leave?
  14. More than one 'in the know' poster has hinted that he might be coming back for 2023 so it's obviously not 'b/s' and is based on something fairly concrete.
  15. That's the whole point, if a rider is strong willed enough their parent club gets no choice. Kennett, Miedzinski, Batchelor and Crump are all examples from the past. Yep, probably amounts to the same thing. Location and race night probably contribute in some cases too.
  16. Because he might want to ride at Glasgow? I expect him to be at Poole but as we've all seen umpteen times in the past riders usually end up riding where they want to be.
  17. Flappy beat me to it but in the case of Basso he disliked the EoES but liked Lynn, can't have liked it that much though as he's chosen Glasgae as his UK club and good luck to him, excellent young rider. Perhaps you are right, maybe the rent at P'boro takes from the budget a bit, and perhaps food and drink sales at Lynn adds to theirs.
  18. Maybe it's Peterborough's choice to move sone riders on and have a fresh start? Perhaps averages don't fit into the usual jigsaw puzzle? Doesn't have to be money, can't imagine the going rate is very different between Buster's two clubs if at all. I'd have thought a brand new and competitive 1-7 for Panthers might be a good thing for everyone.
