Because the whole reason we are trying to get the biggest meetings of the season ridden in October and November is the shambolic summer fixture list that he oversaw. Might pop along to this if the weather is ok and I can be bothered, for one last speedway fix. At least all fourteen riders should be there!

League Cup Final Sheffield v Kings Lynn

Klindt CBA? -
It should be simple but the people who run British speedway make it seem incredibly complicated. I think they have proved beyond doubt that they are not fit for purpose, unless of course their purpose is to run our sport into the ground as far as they can.

Leicester lions 2023 (PREMIERSHIP)

They are like bumholes after all. -
Looking back at the results on and around Bank Holiday weekend there were hardly any championship fixtures anyway, you guys ran the CLRC (was that the original date?) and there were couple of other matches and that was it. So no big crowds anyway. I'd have thought it would be sensible to avoid all this embarrassment for the sport by getting the league decided early when the weather is better and kids are off school etc then leave the last couple of months for cups, trophies and other stuff. We can't have this situation again next year. As well as trying to squeeze the most important meetings of the year into the last few wet days of October we had some sides twiddling their thumbs for over a month waiting for the Play Offs to even happen. Its amateurish and shambolic.

Luck or planning? -
Yep, and pretty sure he criticised that one too. More so if anything.

Lambert and Bewley could have ridden in the UK instead of for Smederna if they'd wished to.

At least they had one......

If folk were offered better VFM I'm sure they would. Let's see what they come up with for 2023.

It's called the silly season, it happens every year.

I can see Pickering, Jorgensen ad possibly Klindt returning. Feel for Lawson, would have him back on a seven but he's not good value on his final figure especially if a few bigger names return to the league for 2023. Can see Worrall at Leicester and if FTR's are retained we're in good shape with Thomas and Edwards. Would have Iversen back if he wants to race here and we be daft not to consider Riss. All depends on the numbers though.

Fair play To be fair it could have been pit bikes, dancing, loading the van, a virus, missed flight, van broke down etc etc......I dont think he was ever coming.

Ah so pit bikes not dancing

The issue is that the meeting was advertised with Lambert included when it was known long before tapes up that he wasn't coming, absolutely Lynn at fault. The problem is speedway fans are too nice to kick up a fuss, they are taken for granted because they allow themselves to be. As Haza says it'll all be forgotten by next March. Nothing will change until British Speedway is run by a no nonsense character who won't allow clubs and riders to take the pee, like the Polish authorities who rule with an iron fist. We shouldn't even be riding in October, the league meetings and Play Offs should be done by the end of August with September for cups and individuals. The whole thing is an utter shambles, people are expected to turn up and pay £20 with no effort, transparency or customer care from those running it. Sort it out for 2023 FFS.
