I quite like the drone in short bursts but not for too long and not out of the start, certainly thought it added to the coverage though and could be really good with a bit of fine tuning. -

While I understand the P'boro fans frustrations I don’t think their team is half as bad as some of their more OTT supporters like to make out. Track surface not great tonight but you can see the shape is an enormous improvement on the previous circuit. -

Fantastic day, the atmosphere in the city was amazing. Wondered why they had two buses, soon became apparent -

Sounds like one of those which could have gone either way. -
Said in the pre season predictions that this Aces line up didn’t convince me and I’m still of that opinion. They are going to be in a scrap for fourth without changes.

Reasonably content with a point after the first night mauling but there is room for improvement still, one or two riders have it in their locker as they have been much better in the recent past but one or two others may not be capable of better and might need replacing as the season progresses. Hopefully not as it always preferable to keep the same seven but play off qualification may depend on it. Still relatively early days but over the next few weeks improvement is a must from certain riders. -

Damn right, doesn’t happen very often and considering how far above expectations the season has gone it’s something I just have to be a part of. No brainer. Up the Stars! -

An awful lot of confidence on here from Twitches supporters, let’s hope your team are able to back up all of the words to save egg on faces 48-42. -
Wow, tough old crowd at Arlington.

I believe at one point he was averaging just over ten at Lynn and just under four away. -
The pairs format just isn’t my cup of tea, not enough genuine team riding. Thought tonight’s meeting was reasonable, plenty of FTG but more passing than I expected. Love watching Milik when he’s on it, fantastic entertainment. Absolute balls of steel.

What are the 3rd and 4th bend arrangements please Rob? Is it temporary terracing?

Who will be taking Gregs place ?

Still early in the season, more to come from Robert I’m sure. He’s not fully up to speed yet the same as a lot of riders. Riding in a few GP’s will be invaluable experience. -

Not saying a particular figure but by the time the Play Offs are happening somebody will have made the number five position their own and be able to contribute in 13 & 15 consistently. Most likely Riss. -

One could imagine a bumpy, potholey track not being particularly comfortable for him though even after a month. -

Despite good things going on at Glasgow, Ipswich and Swindon amongst others it’s generally been a pretty poor start to the UK season with poor track and poor racing issues at Poole, Sheffield, Somerset, Peterborough, Lynn, Leicester and Berwick according to people on here (not always the best source admittedly) and beyond. Some reported poor attendances too (as well as some good ones for balance) added to the second division champions not even getting to the tapes. It feels like British speedway is at a massive crossroads and it’s going to need radical thinking to enable it to take the correct road. The bottom line is that much of British speedway is an overpriced, atmosphere-less and pretty unentertaining night out and it simply has to change. -
But compare the reserves, that’s the main difference. Also Somerset fans were watching the World Champion last year. For a minimal reduction that equals a big come down, especially if the racing isn’t cutting it.
