So realistically we are looking at Josh Pickering, Ben Morley or Emil Grondal from the Championship without going down the route of youngsters who would be out of their depth or down roads we've been before ie Simon Lambert and Carl Wilkinson to replace Kasper. Very little around with which to replace Lewis unfortunately, looks like R/R could be the best bet for the time being. On top of that lets hope Proctor's withdrawal at Berwick last night was nothing too serious.

What's the conversion from CL to PL?
-
If we are looking at both sides of the argument then one could say that there wouldn't be rumours if it wasn't for Chinese Whispers on internet forums.....in the case of Iversen last week the fact that MPT had already been declared as absent and NKI not mentioned should have been enough to confirm his presence whatever the tittle tattle was doing the rounds. Football clubs don't comment on speculation in what is a far more professional sport and speedway clubs shouldn't need to quash rumours every five minutes either. That said I accept that the club could communicate more and that a short statement could have nipped it all in the bud but they shouldn't always have to do that.

Great final. -

As dull as Hancock is I can understand his inclusion, however there are at least two Danes who could/should have been picked ahead of Pedersen. -

Mr Ped didn't qualify. -

Agreed but he is still a shadow of his former self. Can't stand the bloke or the way he rides but he is a multi world champion and that ought to be the memory we all have of him (as well as knocking people off). -

Much better from Cook. -

Cook just looks completely devoid of any confidence or self belief. Really sad to see as if he was on the top of his game he would at least be mixing it and picking up some points. Pedersen should retire gracefully from the GP's, not up to it on a regular basis any more. -
Despite all that baloney I'm sure he went where the money was best.

lucifer Sam is a speedway administrator so I'd put my mortgage on him being right. -

Me too. Would be a very welcome gesture of good will to offer people with tickets free admission. -
I would put money on all the original Danes (and Lambert's Danish contract) being signed when the FRN was still going to be Thursday.

There was a meeting in the late nineties against Ipswich which didn't finish until nearly midnight IIRC! -

My point is quite simple, some are saying Buster should have called it off when only the ref has that power. -

Was going to say surely the referee is the only one who can abandon a meeting? -

Best wishes to Lewis and Kasper. One of those nights that speedway throws up occasionally, can understand the frustration of people who were there but don't really see what else could have been done. Star Lady sums it up best I would say, nobody thought it would all take so long. -
He's the latest in a long line of chairmen who have failed, don't think it matters who is in charge when so many others contribute to the pool of ideas and get to vote on them.

With NKI back to something like his best and Proctor at reserve this ought to be a comfy home win, would be nice if Kasper could get amongst the points too. -
Well bugger me......

No self righteous step here (the irony ) just providing a bit of balance to the thread. The club have released a press release naming him in the team, until such a time that we are told differently then there have been no lies or hoodwinking or anything similar. If he doesn't ride then they will deserve everything they get on this forum and beyond.

King's Lynn v Leicester 04/07/18

Apologies, just seen there is already a thread -
NIELS-Kristian Iversen reckons the shackles of his shoulder injury have finally been broken as he prepares to lead King’s Lynn against Leicester on Wednesday (7.30).The Tru Plants Stars number one fired a fearsome signal of intent last week with a five-ride full maximum in the 45-45 draw at Somerset. That was only his fourth UK appearance since coming back from mid-season surgery and provided the Dane with a much-needed boost.“I am able to look forward now, I feel like I am going in the right direction and know that with time and some hard work that I will be back to where I want to be again,” said Iversen.“It has been difficult, especially when you come to meetings knowing you are not totally right.“Getting the physical or psychological advantage to be on top of your game is very tough but things are what they are. “I just have to get through it and treat it for what it is. That’s the best way to get back to my best shape.”King’s Lynn will operate rider replacement for Michael Palm Toft at number three. One ride can be taken by Lewis Kerr with the others divided between Kasper Andersen and Ty Proctor. With new averages kicking in for this meeting, Proctor rides from number seven with the rest of the Stars team order unchanged. New recruits Ricky Wells and Charles Wright feature in a full one-to-seven for the Lions. Ryan Kinsley is King’s Lynn’s number eight.*To read the full interview with Iversen on the decision to have his operation mid-season and a look back at his third career maximum at Somerset, pick up a copy of the club’s official programme at the track. It is packed with content and a bargain at £3.
