Alternatively if he does ride then no lies will have been told and it will have been a whole load of fuss over nothing, and not for the first time.

We all know what assuming did

I'm sure we've been here before with riders being 'down to ride' in Denmark. Doesn't mean Iversen will actually ride there but we shall see. As others have said MPT was declared unavailable some time last week.

Used to go to Mildenhall regularly during their most recent PL stint, saw some fantastic racing during those few seasons. Have only been once or twice since as NL speedway has never really been my cup of tea but it's a fantastic little setting for some Sunday afternoon speedway.

No big fuss here, just struggling to understand how it's ruthless when the two replaced riders are injured and R/R & guests aren't really covering adequately.

I guess you could say that any circuit can be a trick track if the home riders are far more familiar with it than the visitors....Eastbourne will have been massively advantageous when they first dropped down as very few away riders knew too much about it. Same with Lakeside last year and as you say Belle Vue too. I guess anything out if the ordinary ie particularly big and fast or particularly small and tight would offer that extra bit if 'trickiness' too. I remember at Lynn 10-15 years ago in the second division we used to batter teams more often than not because of the surface more than anything, away riders would come with no idea how to turn the bike in fairly grippy conditions whereas riders like Topinka, Parker, Madsen, Brundle, Doolan, Allen, Oliver etc had done thousands of laps there and it was like a second nature. I'd say that hone track advantage can be magnified at NL level as many of the riders are so inexperienced.

People who go to Belle Vue or Peterborough would probably disagree with that.
-
Exactly, but neither rider is? Not really sure what point you are trying to make, just having a good old poo stir I'd suggest.
-
Not really ruthless if they are injured? I expect that neither rider would have been replaced if they were fit.

apology to workington speedway .

While the promotion probably shouldn't have taken the steps that it did, if you are a pillock on a public forum on a daily basis you are eventually going to get some kind of comeback. -
My heart alive!

Just looked, yep that's him. Very good signing on that evidence and of course last night.
-
Did he ride in the anniversary meeting at Belle Vue in March? Looked decent if that's him.
-
Because Thursdays were included in the original agreement before it was changed to Wednesdays
-
Course he did
-
R/R scored 5......Poole wouldn't have gone through even if Vissing had ridden.
-
With MPT due to miss his last Wednesday night fixture due to riding in Denmark next week its quite handy that he and Proctor are swapping.

Womble was talking about MPT in heat 14 in that quote! -

A good two points, a little disappointing to be four up after heat 13 and not win but Somerset are pretty formidable at home so it's probably a bit picky to criticise too much. Great to see Niels back to his best. -
I'm sure everyone in speedway has issues with Stoke I'd they have any sense, their promotion have been a shambles for years and the track problems have come to a very dangerous head now. They should have their licence revoked until such a time that the BSPA / SCB are satisfied that the place is safe enough for racing. I'm sure your views on modern bikes hold water but in this particular case they are of very little consequence otherwise Stoke wouldn't be the only track with their problems.
