Going to Belle Vue on Friday so glad to be seeing an exciting young Brit rather than the alternative, although best wishes to him for a speedy recovery.
Hes hardly going to turn up at tracks he's not ridden for years and go through the card, but with his ability to excite and with what he has achieved in his career he's a fantastic addition to the Championship.
Have never understood this way of thinking. Whatever one thinks of any rider why would you cut your nose off to spite your if he improved your team? Bonkers.
Sorry but the novice at number seven idea has to be maintained. Some will sink, some will swim but in the end it will improve riders quicker. For every JPB there is an Ellis Perks, Danyon Hume etc and generally it will work. The talent is there, it needs a means of being nurtured.
You'd imagine he did, they aren't always effective enough. Anyway this had gone way past the point I was trying to make, which is that you would always want somebody who hates losing over someone who doesn't really care. I accept that the line between passion and knobbery .ca. be a thin one.
Agreed, he comes across as a rider who hates to lose to me and that can't be a bad thing. Unfortunately too many speedway fans seem to get too much pleasure from sticking the boot into riders or teams when things don't go there way.
We are essentially a big track side so keeping the score respectable is probably the best we can hope for. Should be comfortable for Wolves over two legs if they are at full strength for the second leg.
