I'm not convinced by Klindt full stop. Anyway, can't believe this Holder stuff is still rumbling on. KK frees up points elsewhere on what is a tight points limit. Whether he will do the job Holder would have done remains to be seen but it's totally logical why that choice was made.
-
Fair enough. Even better!
-
Lynn have 2.84 left. Not hard for Col to find on this forum if he looked. Schlein and Bjerre would have been 0.02 over with those other five.
-
I don't rate Greaves at all but he is more experienced than other number sevens and should score points. Play Off certainties and could well finish top of the pile.
-
Schlein had a big fall out with the promoter and probably won't race for the club again. As for Holder's unachievable average, it's for teambuilding purposes only. Teams won't be building to fifty in respect of any mid season changes.

Two years is a long time and a lot of speedway meetings, it's quite possible. He'll still only be twenty so even then younger than the riders you mention are now. I don't think people fully appreciate just how much ability he has at such a young age. He is years off his probable peak.
-
Are you talking about Lambert or Harris? Robert is only eighteen and only going one way. Bomber's best days are behind him. No brainer which one is better value. That said agree with everyone who has pointed out his gating, until he sorts that he will find things extremely difficult. Hopefully one day soon it will click.
-
I think Davey's career results are due to a lack of ability rather than his injuries. He'll do a job at number seven but can't see him improving too much.
-
Agree, he'll improve once again but not by enough to challenge Holder this year. He'll probably get to that level one day but not just yet. I certainly wouldn't swap him for anyone else on his average.
-
Even though the racing has diminished in recent years for whatever reason Lynn has been smooth and consistent 99% of the time and Holder's scores have always been good there. A bit more dirt round the outside and I'm sure riders and fans alike will be happy.
-
Exactly. There appears to be no law broken here and with the potential earnings on offer Poland can put enormous pressure on riders.
-
It's been said that Somerset wanted Kildermand but this rule prevented it. Unfortunately Poland have all the power, not a lot the riders can do in the short term. They can't risk losing that income.
-
If Puk isn't obliged to ride in Denmark then fair enough. Wouldn't expect him to drop his home league in favour of the UK though.
-
We have just over three points left and Lambert averages just over five so ain't going to happen. Looking at what else is around we may as well go with Josh.
-
But harsh as he has to ride in Denmark and the other two big leagues pay more and only run once a week. A complete no brainer for him really. Sounds like he would have done all four but for those lovely Poles.

Does British Speedway Have Future?

I blame the yanks. -
I think you've named the top four there unless Leicester or Belle Vue declare something remarkable when they name their sides.
-
Perhaps the number seven delay is to allow Josh to prove his fitness. Would have him over Davey every day if the week and probably anyone else seeing as the young Brum lads will be tied up on Wednesdays. Perhaps Williamson if he fits.
-
I stand on the first bend at Lynn and often look in the pits between races and have never seen him 'canoodling'. I'm not a fan of hangers on but perhaps her presence is beneficial to him on race night, if it wasn't I can't imagine she would still be attending. Yep, potential question marks over most of your riders. Will Kurtz pull his finger out away from home, is Andersen past his best, what if Klindt doesn't gate, can KK be arsed, how will Holder cope with the step up etc etc.
-
Lambert on a skiing holiday. I'd be concentrating on your own team's potential shortcomings rather than concerning yourself about how distracted Robert may or may not be. He'll carry on developing nicely in an environment he's happy in. Merry Christmas.

Auto correct strikes again

I can't see how any Australian can fit with under four points to play with. Kozza's last average was over six was it not? New assessed Aussies come in on five and as far as I'm aware no foreigner can come back on less than four however low their average was from the previous year.
-
Wow. Maturity levels reaching a new low tonight. No number seven being named tonight as options being considered.....would rather have seen a little faith shown in Josh Bailey but trust the club to make the right choice. Very pleased with the six named so far.

Other riders may cut out their own leagues if they were run across four nights of the week.
